did they just shadownerf Cinder droprate in helltides? i’ve been in one for 20 minutes and i got about 100 on oneshot aoe build!
Update: Cinders have not been nerfed, either my character was bugged or i was in a bugged zone, as some people mentioned further down.

i am literally in it right now, and it’s taking forever to get 300 cinders
Yep me too, took 30 min to get 300. Usually can do in <10 minutes and events don’t drop almost any at all.
For those that wonder how it affects us that people exploit materials for summoning bosses, well this is how. Their fix…nerf the whole process. Thanks
Same, something changed since last night. No point in doing helltide now. Can’t even get enough cinders until what ever changed is fixed. Can’t even get forgotten souls now with whatever changed
Damn this already felt rough before…
Noooo, getting abundant cinders and Forgotten Souls is what made Helltides fun this season… grrr

was deffo a slog to get through that one… managed to gather enough for one living steel chest, but that did not feel good 
I know my group won’t be collecting cinders if this is how it’s going to be moving forward T_T
I keep seeing threads like this, but I have no issue getting 1400+ cinders per Helltide.
mby they are trying to live-fix the 280 living steel chests bug and messed something up… hoping
Is the landscape red? There is a bug where the landscape is not red and cinders drop at a very low rate. You have to portal to a town in the helltide and log out and back in and the world should have the red tint/color and drops should be good again.
This sounds like how it’s was up until this recent helltide i just did, i hope it’s a temp-bug or something then
I did one this morning and got over 1000. Spent most of the time looking for steel chest.
What I noticed is that it depends on the area. One is extremely bad where it takes 30 mins to get 300 cinders… the other one it takes only 10~ minutes to get 300.

i did one of those helltides earlier where u have 15min to get the first 2 chests before the location changes
i got both (560 cinders) and still had 3min spare
I got 1800 last night in a single helltide so no. Kill faster i guess.
what a weird thing to post lol, i oneshot all packs on my characters
they dont want to make things easier… only extend play time hah
