Nerf Uber Lilith

This is Diablo. Not Dark Souls. I shouldn’t be getting one shot with 70 all resist at level 95. Fire some more developers and lets make this reasonable.

Cuz this game isn’t easy enough?

Come on man. Keep working at it. Dont cry nerf. You’ll get her down

Its a terrible boss fight and its already cost some people their jobs. I’m okay with it costing more people their jobs until they hire people who aren’t stupid and nerf it. Natural selection at play here.

The one shot mechanic is bad and even worst if you’re console player. Other than that Uber Lilith has been considerably nerfed. If you can avoid the one shot, she is really easy even with tier B and C builds.

Keep firing developers until they learn this is Diablo and not a game for one shot mechanics at capped resistances and huge HP Pools. Make Diablo Great Again!

Dark Souls didn’t invent 1-shot mechanics.
Learn pattern recognition. The fight is easy and you can face-tank most of it.

Once you learn her mechanics, it’s actually quite easy without using any gimmicks.

The best advice I can give you is: after you kill her the first time, when she’s reincarnated, keep hitting her until she leaves. When she appears again, hit her a few more times and move all the way to the right side edge to the top. Stall a bit there until all the ground affects at the bottom side are gone and quickly move there. There are 3 wedges on the bottom side that you have to navigate. Stay on the right bottom wedge and don’t worry about hitting her any more. Keep running on the edge keeping away from the ground affects until each wedge clears and only the middle wedge is left. Then kill her there.

I know this explanation is a bit confusing, but after you run it a few times it will make more sense.

Hope this helps.

Shes fine. This game is already too easy in S2

I mean she is supposedly the hardest part of the game…… wouldnt be the case if you nerf her right? Hate to break it to you but she isnt hard

Imo, the only challenging part in the entire game is Lillith’s janky hitbox of the wave mechanic and possibly the mechanic where you stand on a single pixel near the edge of the arena. If you’re not playing a broken meta build that can literally circumvent all her phases in a single rotation, you’re stuck doing all the mechanics. If they keep the damage as is and fix the hitbox of the wave mechanic, it should be less annoying to complete the fight. Btw I’m playing a thorns barb, so I’m stuck doing all the mechanics

Thing is, from what I understand that doesn’t include physical damage just elemental

It’s an uber it’s not supposed to be easy
I suppose you think a challenge shouldn’t be a challenge either and just a walk in the park

You aren’t making it great when you want to walk around naked and have everything dead before it comes on the screen, thats just boring and a waste of time

Eh, even FROM usually avoids one-shots and even when they do it’s usually very well telegraphed.

But also worth pointing out that there’s a bunch of builds that can cheese Lilith by one-shotting her lol, there’s a big problem on both extremes.

It’s a cheesy fight but doable. Just make sure you use your skills and not just normal attacks all the while move your mouse slight to the left so that the pixel of the waves don’t get you.

This is an embarassing take.

She’s called the PINNACLE BOSS. Echo of Lilith is designed to test you because at the moment it’s the hardest thing you can do, if you beat her your character has nothing left to do. If you want to beat her then you need to be able to play. Actually play well. Or at least understand how to make a blasting build.

You should either uninstall D4 or let somebody to play for you if still having problems with already heavily nerfed bosses.

These bosses are walking in the park on a Sunday afternoon. Get gud.

No. It’s the pinnacle boss fight of the game, and the ONLY somewhat challenging fight currently. Take the time learning the fight and wiping like the rest of us did, or don’t.

I’ll try this tonight. Thanks.

That’s not a really fair comparison, tho I do understand why you reference it. However, bosses in DS/BB/Shekiro/ER all actually take into account your build/gear when they hit you. Lilith is just, “You out.”

If this was dark souls, the fight would actually be doable without sheer luck.

The fight is certainly doable without luck. Especially in S2. Just gotta dodge.

Ya know…there are videos on youtube on how exactly to beat her mechanics right?

Just watch a few and see the timing instead of going in there and repeatedly getting 1 shot trying to figure out the mechanics.

I know the mechanics. They are gameplay wise awful.
depending where you stand you have less then half a second reaction time.
other moves get telegraphed as two lines apart but are then a wall of death.
Hitboxes are awful and don’t match the graphics.

I know, I recorded it and looked at it frame by frame. Then i lost interest.
