Probably an unpopular opinion but man am I sick of seeing nothing but spirit born with the same build everywhere. Imagine nerfing the other classes and releasing this in the state its in dumping on everything, blue all over the screen can’t see anything.
I don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion lol, everyone I play with wants it nerfed.
I’m using the one button to win build and I love it, but I agree it needs to be dealt with. It’s just way too efficient for how easy it is to get up and running once you get the required weapon for it.
Id love to hear the meetings at blizzard about this.
Do we nerf?
But it’s a new class!
Yea but they are smoking T4 like it’s on normal!
Do we nerf next week, or in November with mid season patch?
I am all for “broken op” at launch new class. (i played DK at launch in wrath)
Issue is how long they are allowed to be that strong & should it be allowed to be THAT much ahead of any other class?
you could nerf the SB and they would still be able to be stronger than the rest of classes. They aren’t even on same scaling as rest.
Spiritborn is the new class.
There was always going to be a disproportionate number of spiritborn players after the DLC.
I am also not surprised that the class is strong.
If it was weak, please imagine all.the complaints.
spiritborn need nerfs ASAP, mid-season nerfs doesn’t matter at all, cuz everyone will stop playing already after a weekend.
Most people will stop playing anyway because this game still lacks an endgame for some reason. There’s nothing other than grinding for paragon 300.
As usual, we see the regular fools who cry for nerfs here. If Blizzard is smart, they will do as they have been and wait until the end of the season. Only reason they made any change to Lightning Spear last season was to try to help stability.
I wish they hadn’t nerfed all the other classes so hard (Sorc and Barbarian) so hard, totally unnecessary just to make the Spiritborn shine more.
Buff everything else instead.
Strange, I thought you weren’t buying the expansion nor supporting Blizzard.
Guess I’m wrong…
there’s always people posting dumb takes like this when some obviously overpower build is found. What you describe leads to insane levels of power creep.
you don’t buff everything in the game up to the level of the 1 obviously over performing thing. you bring the 1 obviously over performing thing down to where you designed the game to be.
other classes should be at a similar power level to spiritborn in general but this 1 specific build is not the framework for it
copypasted from reddit, but 100% true.
The spiritborn evade build is the only build that needs nerfing, don’t even need to do anything just spam space bar to zoom across the map and kill everything simply by pressing one button, I tried this build and just went back to my crushing hands build.
How anyone finds that fun is beyond me, it’s soul crushingly boring and OP AF I can not wait to see it get nerfed because it completely trivializes content and with the amount of invuln frames you get is absolute BS you can’t die at all unless you are so amazingly stupid that you manage to get yourself stunned and then die then maybe games like this isn’t meant for a player like that, but that fact that some people are creaming bosses in less than 10 seconds by simply pushing one button repeatedly is something I think rapidly needs to get changed ASAP.
i dont understand why people want things to be nerfed all the time. the state of spirit born is OK. the state of other classes is super bad.
instead of making things less fun, make other classes more fun.
Good to have friends I guess, you mad I’m playing? I didn’t support this expansion was gifted and I wouldn’t be playing if that wasn’t the case, specially after playing it I can confidently say it’s not worth $40 and I’m almost positive I said I’d wait to see or wait for a sale.
Except that it ignores the sorry unfun state of the other classes.
It’s a new class, of course you’re going to have a lot of people playing it.
Golly gee willickers beav
let me finish the season journey first, then it can be nerfed
Imagine wanting to play the new class.
/boggle
What he means is, when you reach T4, it’s all spiritborn because they’re the only class that can effectively do the content.
I’ve been in T4 most of the week and I’m the only non-spiritborn player ive ever seen.
They’re just that dominant.
My sorc that already has a GA’d perdition does a tiny fraction of spiritborn’s damage.
