there’s like no other reason to play anything else as Necro or you’re gimping yourself by 50000%

please nerf Bone Spear to allow for actual build diversity because right now it’s bottlenecking the whole class

why nerf when you could just make other build better.

nerfing Bone spear doesn’t make minions any more capable of clearing high end content.

build up, dont break down

If it is as you say and nothing else competes with bone spear to be competitive with other classes’ performance, would be better to buff other things about necro or nerf other aspects of other classes than to nerf what you are citing as the only viable option for necro. Otherwise you’re just left with nothing.

bone spear should be nerfed… no reason anything should be killing world bosses in 3 seconds. if everything else gets buffed then whats the point? where is the challenge? its a broken build that needs to be brought down. to the level of other classes.

bone spear and shards sorc need their vuln damage reduced by about 50%, and they’d still be too strong

Except if there is only one issue, that supposedly being bone spear is overpowered…Then it’s easier to change that than to buff everything else.

There are lots of bone spear players who struggle with high lvl content because of their glass cannon mentality. in order to compete with other end game builds they have to sacrifice dmg for survivability.

world bosses dont really count imo as there are multiple classes that can delete them

Is it overpowered compared to the rest of the class kit or to other classes and their kits though determines what should be buffed and what should be nerfed.

Because Bone Spear lets you kill the hardest boss in the game ignoring almost all of its mechanics

the problem is that if a player can just blast everything with ease a lvl 80ith max rolls for 1 shot bone spear, then that is the build they are going to use especially if no other class can compete. it simply just needs to be nerf’d down the damage level of other classes. if they buff everything, then the game is a literal joke and it wont be fun anymore.

as a summon necro who does not want to play bone spear I would prefer they just work on scaling necro minions then nerfing things

Bone Spear Necro has more DPS than WW Barb even when they had the exploit, because the exploit took minutes to scale, and in that time, BS Necro can kill anything

Now without the WW exploit? They arent even in the same league

i think WW barb spec and ice shard sorce spec are the only other two to compete. while druid pulverize werebear form is good, i dont think its better than lvl 100 top geared warriors ww or ice shard with frost nova. bone spear from what i’ve seen has been downing world bosses in 3 seconds… how does that fair in pvp vs other classes that cant measure up to that damage? balance needs to be addressed if blizzard wants pvp to be of something good in the future
