I really dont think blizzard intended for 99.9% of players to use the EXACT SAME quill volley/eagle build for spiritborn, and not try everything the spiritborn has to offer as the new class in the expansion.
Can we PLEASE get this fixed/nerfed to actually be able to see some build diversity/new mechanics/skills that this expansion has to offer?
You guys put a ton of effort into this, and it shows…but when over 95% of the population right now is the EXACT SAME class and build,
It makes the game and ALL content surrounding the game (including youtube videos/streamers) incredibly stale and boring.
You cant go on youtube or twitch without ONLY seeing quill volley/eagle builds with 0 variation in the actual skill points/paragons/glyphs.
I cant be the only one noticing this, and am extremely irritated with it, am i?

No, we can’t. It’s a new class and expansion, if you aren’t playing it you shouldn’t be worried about it. Enjoy the season and blast, we don’t need more terrible nerfs to ruin build diversity even worse than what it is right now. You shouldn’t be worried about what other people are playing anyway, only what you are playing. The point is to have fun… Not ruin other people’s fun.

If they don’t fix (I’d prefer remove) the Banished Lord talisman from the game like I asked many, many times, this season is beyond over with every shot being overpower + crit, ridiculous.
And yeah, some nerf to spiritborn lightning, since people just play the same op thing over and over, boring asf.

Re-read my post, i dont think you understood what i was saying.
176% of everyone playing d4 VOH is a quill volley spiritborn build, and every single one uses the same skill points, paragons, and gear.
Nerfing that build would CREATE build diversity, NOT ruin it.
Because then the content surrounding the new expansion would be more diverse.
Go on youtube and just search “diablo 4 spiritborn” and lmk how long you have to scroll before you see ANYTHING OTHER than streamers/videos of the quill volley/eagle/evade build.

Every season has S Tier, overpowered builds. Of course this season it’s Spiritborn. If you don’t like the meta, don’t play it. Who cares what everyone else is doing. I’m personally playing that exact build and having the time of my life. If you want diversity, play another build. Maybe it won’t be a face roll, but it can still be fun. Once I’m done conquering this build, I’m gonna play another class. And by next season, Spiritborn will probably be a small handful of the S Tier builds. Enjoy it while it lasts and stop worrying about what other people are doing.

not playing the quill build n ow if the game wouldnt crash every so often i would enjoy it more
there is no leaderboards or anything of usefulness to call for a nerf and mid season nerfs are cancer anyway

i use that build and still not doing good damage in lvl 40s so the build is average. The YT players are already in Paragon lvls so no need to nerf a build that is just ok using junk gear not BiS. Stop trying to be Entitled to do it your way. Diablo back in the day most players used ordinary gear and worked their way up not nerf the game so players can boast and just smile because they felt powerful.

Its pretty early and thats an easy build to play. Give it some time and the other builds (im guessing poison) will start showimg up. No need to nerf, it’ll correct itself.
Haven’t seen this build in play, however ya…I’m running the Thorns Jaguar build with the blood boil aspect. Lvl 47 haven’t taken on any bosses yet, but demolishes trash mobs.

I think you’re in a bubble. Most players don’t use builds and just relax their way through an hour here and they’re playing whatever they think is interesting.
Remember that 2 months into the game, most players still hadn’t completed the game.
Within your bubble of YouTube/Twitch everyone is currently playing this, but that’ll load quickly because it’s not interesting content for long anyhow.
Also, the evade build only works so insanely when you put shade on scrollwheel, which most pc players won’t do and none of the controller players do.
So relax, and just enjoy your own playstyle.
