What are you on about lol? Just because it was like that in D3 doesn’t mean it has to stay that way in D4 too. Diablo 3 had real-money auction house, maybe you want that too?
Use the forum search function, this way you can add to existing posts about this which is better than a post like this by itself. This is being discussed on numerous posts on the front page. Thanks.
We need searching system. It’s such a pain to manage loot in this game. It’s disgustingly bad. I wanted to extract aspects from all my loot but i can’t afford it. Too expensive
They’re 2 games in a row going in the opposite direction, devs showed deep rejection of inventory Tetris and most places (webs, forums, streams, etc) I visit show mostly rejection to the system (at least that’s the feeling I have).
And I think that’s a sad thing, given that I think that it had good things. It didn’t only have cons.
Why is the OP hoarding Rares and Legendaries? I maybe store 1-4 rares if I’m waiting for a high-score Aspect for them. Legendaries should be salvaged or extracted pretty much on the spot. Either it has a good aspect or stats you’ll use or it doesn’t and should be salvaged/extracted.
It’s not inventory management that’s the issue. There is a minimal amount of inventory management. The storage space is fine. Sure, adding tabs is a band-aid in your view, but that’s the point… it’s your view and behaviors that are the issue. I say this as an inventory hoarder in some games, too!
while i agree, more storage could be cool. i also think - hoarding mode as been activated for everyone thinking “i might use this SOMEDAY”. I know it did for me. i went through my stash and found duplicates and low rolled affixes/legendaries etc. and was able to clear about 2 stash tabs of stuff that i didn’t need/knew i wouldn’t use.
ever had more than 1 char? then you will start to notice all your barbarian gear/aspects are also in your second char’s inventory, being completely useless and now you have no space for any other chars. 4 tabs is simply way way way too little shared across acc.
