Need help with bug

Twice so far in Diablo 4 on Steam i have gotten a bug.

“Diablo IV detected corrupted data and was unable to automatically repair the damage. Please run Scan and Repair using the Battle.net"

My PC specs if needed

4080 Super
Ryzen 7700
32gb ddr5 ram 6400mhz

the bug seems to have happened for me both times after i go back to the game from alt tabbing, once to check temps and another to check what achievement i just got on Steam, i go back into the game and i move a few feet and the bug appears.

Any advice other than delete game?

EDIT: i had Steam check the integrity of the files and all was fine, both times and i reinstalled the game, and ALL drivers are current.

Go to your %localappdata% folder and see if the blizzard and Battle.net folders are there. If you haven’t installed outside of Steam i dont think they should be but maybe Steam utilizes them as well.

If they are there, delete them and check your files in steam again.

OK thanks! i did have a battle.net folder in that location and i deleted it. Hopefully that will help!
