Hej all,
I want to make a Barb build around Rupture, i for the life of me can’t figure out how the bleed damage is calculated. So rupture does a stab that does damage, then it rips out dealing all bleed on target as instant damage.I have a modifier that says:
Ripping your weapon out of enemies during rupture causes an explosion that deals 1,857,781 (1,966%) bleeding damage over 5 seconds. this damage is increased by 35%(x) for every 50 strength you have.
Current bonus 980%(x)
If i understand correctly I should be doing 1.857.781 * 9.8 bleeding damage over 5 seconds. Or 18.206.254 damage over 5 seconds. However I see about 15 ticks of 45.000 damage instead amounting to 675.000 damage… or 3.7% of expected bleed damage…
My question is WHY? What’s going on here? What am I missing?
I got all the numbers from the training dummies on Torment 2 and the stats as displayed in the skills tab.
Is this bugged? is The multiplier applied before the base damage from the skill is added or something? This should be performing way better or am i crazy?
I don’t necessarily expect to run pit 80+ with my build but at the moment its just so underwhelming despite the theoretical numbers i cant even get past torment 2 with it with a full paragon board and all DOT uniques and legendaries.
edit: I’ve been testing this and as far as i can tell the 980%(x) multiplier is simply not happening. Anybody got ideas
the skill also says: “Then rip your weapon out, damaging enedmies for their total bleeding amount and removing all bleeding”
That is also not happening, it seems to be removing only a part of the bleeding amount…
