All are suitable just depends what u want.
Overpower is:
(Current Health + Current Fortify Level) * Overpower%.
The number that gets created from that calculation is added to your normal skill damage. The final number is also modified by the skill used and by enemy resistance.
If you see about 90K damage on the very first hit of Blood Surge, that is actually a smaller part of a bigger number. The first hit of Blood Surge doesn’t do as much damage as all of your total modifiers.
You can also look at it like this. The first hit of Blood Surge is 20% of your weapon damage by default. This essentially applies to the final number.
There are a few things which are multipliers on the health side and these include things like the Tides of Blood passive skill, and that is really about it.
Blood Surge doesn’t do damage like other necro builds, but if you do ever get the Deathspeaker Amulet that may be nice for your build.
So, essentially the best things you can hope for is to stack more total health, get more levels to get more health, and get more Overpower % on gear and in Paragon.
In the Paragon try to get some of the 4% and 2% life nodes too. Those help. The armor nodes are also good for you and the minions.
Good luck!
Slot a 40% rolled mothers embrace ring, max health, stack overpowered and all available DR and attack speed stats and aspects, use embalmed aspect and blood drinkers glyph to keep fortify topped up to maximise OP damage
Thank u very much people
Unfortunately it’s best to ditch the minions unless you have deathspeakers amulet (and even then it’s probably better to not use minions). Put the sacrifice bonuses on damage reduction for warriors, overpower damage on mages, and health on golem. Putting bonus sacrifice stats aspect on an amulet helps a lot. And don’t forget to change passives to boost overpower and sacrifice buffs instead of minions.
I like Deathspeakers personally. For me the key is to sacrifice mages (since they dont work well with deathspeakers) for the overpower damage, and grab +2 warriors. This gives you 6 warriors and a golem that will proc the deathspeakers, and you still retain your high overpower damage.
Basically, you do 7x the damage you’d do without the minions, it’s much better than no minions.
