Please distribute XP evenly, not just for doing PITs. The masterwork at the blacksmith is a separate issue — you can waste a fortune there and get very little in return. Basically, it’s a stock market simulator.
I honestly would love them to scrap the current difficulty system entirely.
Go back to 4 difficulty levels and add the ability to adjust your own torment level based on the pit. This will do 3 things.
- Keep more people in the same instance
- Allow user to customize difficulty
- End game xp grind wont be tied to the pit
If they need to add capstone pit levels that ppl need to solo in order to unlock it. That will prevent people from getting carried somewhere they shouldnt be.
