Need a reference on power

Hello,

Been play S6 alot and am nearing what I might consider the end of the road for my Barbarian. I just wanted to push to T4, and maybe get to pit 80.

This is not a rant, but more of a ask for the community to help me guage chacter power, and where I should be relative to the pit I can clear.

Currently my Barb has grandfather, tyriels(12/12), and doombringer(12/12). Full Ancestrals w/ atleast 4/12 MW, and 2 glyphs lvl45.

I was able to clear Pit 60 with 5 minutes left, and honestly I am an absolute tank as it stands. I do not fear dying, and should be able to push tier 70 without any fear.

The problem is my damage is absolute garbage. I am using a makeshift (probably bad build), paragon board that need to be optimized, and my glpyhs need to be lvled a bit more.

Should a character need all 12/12 MW and 5+ glphs lvl 45+ to be able to push into T4? Am I right on track actually, or is my gear more than enough for T4 and soon pit 70/80, and my build is just terrible?

More or less

T1 seems Ancestrals and some form of a build that works
T2 ancestrals with some MWing and an establish paragon board
T3 Ancestral some MW + 1 mythic, and a few levled glpyhs.
T4???

Is there a spark notes on where a character should be with gear relative to the torment level?

I understand this is probably relative for the class, but a rule of thumb would be nice.

All we know is you have a bunch of fancy items. We don’t know anything about your build.

switch to the new class and you will be clearing pit150 in no time.

you’ve built in too much tankiness and not enough dps. Change out some gear or tempers

My Shred Druid did 65pit(T4) with zero glyphs?

The pit is your gauge. As you are going up in the pit and notice that you aren’t killing fast enough but can survive without issue, you need to shuffle around your build. Trade out some defense for damage and see if things change.

This might mean reshuffling paragon points or trading out some items. Could be simply re-tempering a few items or hunting for ones with GA damage affixes.

This is kinda what I was looking for thanks.

No problem. Had to do this recently with a summoner sorcerer. Hit a wall in pit where I couldn’t complete levels in time.

Ended up swapping out a glyph that gave DR for something that gave more damage. Also noticed I had a defensive skill I rarely used, so swapped it for another summon. Swapped out unique boots for ones with a damage bonus and less resistance because resistance was high enough.

Running much smoother now. Been completing pits with time to spare and not feeling like I’m in danger.

If you play 48h per day, maybe …
