Need 15K topaz to upgrade Glyph to Legendary? SERIOUSLY?

Is this something new? Or have I somehow always just never noticed this.

Why? What the hell do gems have to do with glyphs?

I heard it was 15k fragments, but don’t know if that’s true.

Yeah, it is fragments. I just did not want to make the title too long.
The thing is… WHY?

I literally just upgraded my topaz gems so I had like 1k fragments.

And I still have one more glyph left to go…

This seems so… pointless.

You get in a roll and something stupid like this rears it’s head and just kills the mood.

has been like this for quite a while.

dont forget you can also convert gem fragments at the jeweler.

if you need some, i can hop on and give you some gems. im done with s8 anyway. just lemme know.

just having d4 installed to see if the anniversary brings something fun. once i know what happens, ill need the ssd space for the monster hunter wilds event ^^

i wouldnt say im drowning in gems (as i sold a few), but i got more than enough as that you wont have to worry lol.

should be the last season you run into this anyway, in s9 they want to increase gems too if i recall correctly. Up til now i just sticked to lower tier gems until i got my glyphs done early on ^^

Tbh 15 k fragments is very little

yes it is. didn’t pay attention while upgrading many glyphs to 46 and ended up without enough fragments to craft the top gem.

i mean it is, but early in a season, depending on when you start obviously, it can still be pretty pricey ^^

You can craft the fragments from others, go see the jeweler. She will be able to help you.

does it always infuriate you whenever you dont instantly have a resource in games?

recently i was missing lumina in Clair obscure. Such a bad game really :frowning:

Negative. It does infuriate me when I am right there, about to upgrade to 46 on my gem, and then I go to click it and nothing happens. Oh look, MORE GEM FRAGMENTS needed! Sorry, I don’t care for tying these two systems together at all.

well, that certainly can be annoying, but its not like this is a new information. Its been actually there since they reworked the glyph upgrading.

but yea, as i said. recently i was missing lumina in clair obscure when i wanted to redo my lune build. So infuriating! … =I

But it has been far more noticeable since they stopped dropping gem fragments in quantity

I have never noticed it either…but this is the first season I have actually felt any lack of gem fragments at all. They got super cheap with them.

i mean dont get me wrong, but this really isnt anything new. Hence why i said, i keep my gem upgrades postponed, and make sure to have some fragments up when upgrading my glyphs ^^

I didn’t notice a significant drop in quantity of gem frags until S8. YMMV.
