Imagine a game where we are now scared of reporting bugs, because actually said bugs are somehow in our favor even if the flavor text says otherwise…

So now Thorns does not proc Abhorent Decrepify at all, not on minions, not on yourself, nada. And of course Thorns still does not proc Hewed Flesh either, that was apparently the intent, not “the bug”. “The bug” was that Thorns shouldn’t proc anything at all.
This doesn’t sound like much, but it’s an especially big nerf for Minions builds that were already pretty underwhelming, but now are way way worse since having a bunch of minions with Thorns won’t do anything to your Cooldowns. And of course a nerf for solo necro as well.
And also defeating the whole purpose of the Spiked Armor buff necro receive in the same damn patch.
Honestly this is crazy. Who reviews these changelogs and OK to make those changes when that was part of Necro builds since day one of D4?!

Nerfing something because it doesn’t work right / is buggy (but is also still weak actually) while ignoring game balance breaking overpowered things on the other side of the spectrum is such a Warframe dev thing to do, did they hire new staff?! :3

they did, straight from circus
only 1 old worker is this chinese lady who worked on d3 reaper of souls
and captain malignant rod (he is just marketing face of d4 )
Thorns does not proc most things on Barb either. Blizzard hates Thorns.
Some bugs should be kept, and added as a feature, and make it consistent, not by fixing it, but to work in every case instead of just 1-2 instances. It wasn’t a game braking bug, it was very convenient.

Makes me remember the “bug fix” of the chain lightning enchant not restoring mana with the paragon node anymore… In hindsight, it’s likely safe to assume that any interesting interactions that you might come across in the game are not intended.

Yes it creates an uncertainty. And we can get to point where the players are less likely to point out bugs.
I feel the devs should put bugs into 2 categories atleast. One for bugs that make things not work at all, or create a huge imbalance and make builds way overpreform, that should be fixed. And another for bugs that make interesting interactions, that are not game braking or overpowering, after considering the consequences, adding the functionality and keeping it in the game.

I agree, the fact that we’re increasingly uncertain that anything interesting or convenient turns out to be a “bug” that could be removed at any time, makes the game less interesting to invest time in.
For example, this one interaction for Necro made it so that having thorns was a big plus for almost every necro build since day 1 of D4. And on the other hand we have Thibault’s giving 22 combo points to Rogues which gave millions of damages. Thibault’s wasn’t fixed for an entire season, and personally I was fine with that, it made for interesting new builds an interactions of gear.
But having cooldown with thorns? Oh nononono, we can’t have that sir, that’s wayyyyy too overpowered. Necro minions were just the meta S tier for the past 3 seasons just because of that, so we can’t allow that to continue… /s
