Necromancers have no mobility skills and low resource generation

Necromancers don’t have any mobility skills.
It’s really bad to play like that, you can’t dash when you have a lot of monsters on the screen.
If you play with a Barbaro or Rogue friend they arrive faster at the end of the stage and you are walking behind it is very annoying.

Another thing that is horrible in this game is the generation of mana and essence resources.

You have to keep pressing the button all the time to generate resources is horrible, apart from the pain that this generates not having to press the button so much, since the rougues class automatically generates life and resources. Why can’t other classes be like this?

For me this is the worst version of necromancer made by Blizzard in the game, so why keep doing things the way they are when before the game was faster and more fun, a lot of people play more casually and don’t have time to waste a lifetime in the game and only plays more casual.
In addition to charging dearly in this game, they don’t do things in a way that is good for everyone.

Put 100% Speed on Boots.

It’s on your abilities and some legendary items.
Play more. Soon, maybe you would discover them.

Once you get higher on paragon level problem with essence will remediates itself. What was notable on lower levels is slow “out-of-combat” essence regeneration. Also (sort of ghetto captain-obvious lifehack) aspect that allow you restore 30-40% of resource upon consumption of health globe are very common - so obvious tactic here - get minimal damage and consume health portions for instant resource recovery :slight_smile: Mobility … you have horse :slight_smile: so likely you are complaining about skipping content in dungeons? You have blood mist and you have aspect that remove speed penalties for it, you also have boots (unique and fairly common) that leave chilling trace … hence outside of teleport you have everything what you need

You should see some of the end game necro builds, they look like they are one of the fastest / least mana consuming classes.

It’s feast or famine. If you don’t have the aspects/uniques to support it, you are always starved. If you do have them, pew pew

Unfortunately, if you don’t have them, the codex doesn’t provide powerful enough sustain to get it right.

I’m 73 and still trying to find a SINGLE Umbral that is above 2. Additionally, my penitant boots are level 52 with crap bonuses. So in the meantime, I’m using crit recovery and lucky hit. Trash is easy, but some bosses make my head hurt hoping for a corpse to pop out.
