Necromancer ZOOOOOOM

So as much as I was not happy that Necro was the only class without a movement skill as I was playing various builds it occurred to me that I wouldn’t really want to give up any of my 6 abilities to fit in a movement ability. At least not one that only provides movement. Barbarian, Druid, and Rogue all have movement choices that also do quite a bit of damage and can easily be incorporated into their builds (Barbarian and Rogue also have multiple choices which is nice), Sorcerer can make teleport an enchant that takes the places of evade and frees up a spot on the action bar.

So I was looking at Blood Soaked Aspect which removes the movement impairing effect on Blood Mist paired with Ghost Walker Aspect. If you get a max roll on Ghost Walker it gives you 7 seconds of +25% movement speed.

The downside is that you have to dedicate two aspects to do it so at first I resisted but then I watched a video by MacroBioBoi and he was talking about how good it was. So it occurred to me that some of the aspects I was using weren’t all that exciting anyway.
So I gave it a try while running Nightmare Dungeons last night and actually it is pretty great. Use it with some movement speed boots and amulet and you actually can move around pretty fast. A few of the dungeons I ran last night were annoyingly large and this made them feel better.

We all have to use Blood Mist anyway so it isn’t like we are losing a space on the skill bar. Just two aspects. Give it a try. Feels pretty decent.

Already short on aspect space on my minion build.

Blood Getter’s Aspect
Aspect of Shared Misery
Howl from Below
Aspect of Hardened Bones
Coldbringer’s Aspect
Aspect of Frenzied Dead
Viscous Aspect
Aspect of Reanimation
Ring of Mendeln
Unyielding Commander’s Aspect

Could sacrifice shared misery, but that would be about it, the rest is basically mandatory for minions. I already had to sacrifice the two barriers and even the shield, because minions need three weapon aspects.

If you go minions + shadow, things are even worse because decay and blighted are also weapon aspects.

Yeah I have a minion build too and it would be tough to give up any of the minion aspects. On the plus side at least a minion build has a large amount of aspects they might want to use.
