1.Would be nice to get passives in Basic tree so you can make a build without the option of taking a basic skill.
2. Add so we can see what dmg the summons instead of simply 45% extra dmg from talents.
3.Add a way for people to see how summons scale. Saw quickly during loading screen that they get 30% crit and attackspeed of what the character has but not sure i got that right.
4. Add more options with summons passive like gloom and terror but perhaps with bone or blood skills? Or do Bone/frost mages benefit from those passives aswell? or simply just shadow mages.

I suggested in closed beta that they add a 2-3 point passive in the basic skill area at least for some classes. Sorc and Necro I think especially are examples where you can make a build that you don’t want to bother using a basic skill. That way we wouldn’t have to essentially waste two points on a skill we don’t bother pressing.
For Necro another option could be to add a focus attack skill as a basic that makes your summons focus a target + adds passive summon damage or increases their damage on focus targets or whatever.
Conjuration spells for Sorcs need this too. Some things didn’t apply to them, but I don’t think it’s very clear currently.
Or simply add that you can use the summons skill on an enemy to focus that target aswell instead of only using it as a summon war/mages and priests
Tried playing as a summoner, it feels weird bring forced to have self casting spells and not focusing more on summons as a summoner?
Its like the essence of the necro is not really there, when its pretty much just passive minions that just deal dmg for you, but is not something you spec into.
Imo they need to add more features/ abilities for actual summon necros. The basic and core ability really feels odd to use as a summoner. That leaves defensive, curses, utility and ultimate. In my mind that is not a fun way to build a summoner, when all your specialisation is easily something all necros have.
I was going to make my own thread but ill just add my ideas here.
- I want to customize my army. Maybe I want 2 defenders and 3 reapers. Why is it one or the other?
- Summons should NOT take away a skill slot. That also means no more command skeletons/golem ability. Nerf needed or adjusted…
- Give me archers!
- Give me priests!
- Mages need to have more options. Why am I stuck with only Cold and shadow attacks? Every class should have more damage options. Poison necro please!
- Bone mages just died and I didn’t bother with them.
That is it for now …
One more point is to add seperate corpses to for each necromancer. Played with a bloodmist necro who took all the corpses so couldnt even use any myself
For me, just give me good skeleton models, the current ones are horribly out of place artistically. But many of the suggestions are good.
