Hey, I am a Korean player who has reached 100 in Eternal mode just by playing with the summoning build of the class called ‘Necromancer’. I have deeply fallen in love with summoning as it was a desire for me to aquire for long long time. It was a BIG DAY for me to start with this class since June 2nd with a full heart open. I have never searched about any build or tactics before the game was launched officialy. Plus, I built this on my own just by using the items that were dropped. I was very fascinated with how Diablo 4 has come to pursue players to build whatever concept they want with many ideas given.
There is a youtube video that I talk about this build on my youtube channel in Korean so if the professionals in blizzard see this, please use your Korean co-worker or translator. I haven’t put a bug related information in this video because I was putting alot of considerations into deciding whether I should report it or not. After trying out everything, I have decided to conclude this as a bug.

HERE IS THE REAL START OF THIS TOPIC : The bug that I am talking about is strongly connected to the “Ring of Mendeln” as it was the main option to use for this build. Whenever I face the elites that have the suppressor affix, it seemed like no matter how many times I hit them with my bone spear, the ring of mendeln was never being activated (even though I hit them inside the shield and also even though I tried to put perfect distance inside the shield to activate the ring.) Anyways, I am sorry for terrible explanation into the futher video that I’m going to show. I made this while im writing this. I haven’t slept cuz I was enjoying this game. Maybe I’m delusional and too tired to put correct judgements into thinking if this is a bug. So please, let me know if I am wrong and I hope there will be better resolutions with summonings and anything related to this. I’m not suggesting any buffs or nerfs so please, don’t misunderstand. I have stood up cuz I know there will be people who will love this game building the summoning tree. I just hope myself and people to not get disappointed facing anything that is bad with these kinds of build.
If I’m wrong, maybe Blizzard will prove me but they might also rethink of making changes. I’m just seeking for those. If nothing happens, well at least, I tried my best 
I don’t know if this is a right place to post but yeah, this was the only place to find for me to post this problem.
I know that there are many changes with this game comparing to the previous versions. It feels like Blizzard is making turns as I have tried Echo of hatred. I have any dissatifactions. No mater what the community is saying, please keep it up. It’s a good game. The best I think (as for a launching online game). It’s almost smooth and flawless.
P.S. After watching my video numerious times, I think there are also problems related to this bug with my helmet called “Deathless Visage” and my imprint on my neckclass or Bone spear skill tree. (fyi) I think that Bone spear echoes would be better if they explode on the ground rather than weird places and also would be better if the shards reflect inside the suppressor’s shield… Just be logical. Why are the shards going out of the shield and why are they returning right after they reach their distant and come back outside of the shield if the shield’s purpose is either immune the effects of the player’s distant skills or reflect? Physicx/motion has smth to do with this. hmm just my thought. Maybe there should be a fix or a change to distant hitters cuz I don’t see any other classes that use close hits have problems with suppressors like Distant hitters.
