yes it is. only a few % more damage for them

10% damage bonus so your skeletal warriors will do 450 damage now.

Yeah lmao great. I’m so glad Blizzard literally doesn’t care about the whole purpose of a necromancer.

ok i saw now, Aspect of Reanimation also gets a buff. 10% more damage.

so 10% more damage from skeletal priest buff

and 10% more damage from Aspect of Reanimation
Old: Your [Skeletons] gain increased damage while alive, up to [20-30] %
New: Your [Skeletons] gain increased damage while alive, up to [30-40] %

10% of 0 is still 0 :^)

I’m a Sorc shopping for a replacement for Chain Lightning. Did Blood Lance get buffed?

Blood lance got touched. I didn’t read that far lmao. Possibly a buff.

There’s mention of a bug fix where skeletons had their health buffs deactivated while in town.

At first thought, I was like “Okay…? I mean, it’s not like they’re gonna need it in a place where they become pacifist by force.”, but my boyfriend raised an interesting point: What if the deactivation was permanent, and didn’t turn back on when you leave town?

That would be interesting, but I don’t think that would ever fix necromancer as it is.

its not permanent, you could see it adjusting if you went from in town on a horse to outside of town and got off the horse. You will see their health wasn’t full.

it’s worse than it was before.

at lvl 100 on my necro (edit: bonespear) (average level of glyph being 16.

in Ironhold normal (lvl 95 mobs)

i crit a total of 3 times for 1 mil. the rest were hovering arround 500-700k average.

i have 416% crit damage with 30% crit chance. i went into a lvl 46 nightmare dungeon. i again only crit 3 times for a mil. it takes me 2-3 times longer to kill eleites. and now they are 70/30 chance to kill me before i kill them because i can’t damage them fast enough.

i’ve never been able to crit for 4 mi or more befoer. infact night before the patch i managed to get some changes in that i could rarely (maybe once every 2 nightmare dungeons) crit for 3mil. avg crit 1.5 mil. i could do lvl 50 nightmares now i can barely make it half way through a lvl 46 nightmare.

Blizzard in it’s stupidity has made balance changes arround the top 1% (just like in world of warcrap) and screwed the regular payers that don’t live on the game 24/7.

Before the patch you got giga bone spear damage by corpse explosion x5 to proc Flesh-Eater, then bone storm + corpse tendril to reach 100% crit chance and proc Grasping Veins at max/near max essence. Then you needed to position yourself so all the splinters ricochet back through your target. The splinters did a tonne more damage than the spear due to Splintering Aspect.

Bone spear was definitely over performing. The nerf to splintering and grasping seem harsh on paper. Ehh I don’t know. Those 2 aspects are some of the best class specific aspects in the game. If anything, I’m surprised they left splintering alone up to now - it makes everything vulnerable for 5 sec and gives you +225% damage vs vulnerable. Thats busted.

They didn’t touch essence scaling and bone spear build isn’t CDR reliant so this patch won’t break the build. The damage will just come down a lot, but there are big general nerfs to crit and vuln so I think they just want to scale everything down across the board.

I would be more worried about highly CDR dependent builds like Infinimist tbh.

The minion damage buffs just don’t register to me at all since all the big damage is from Mendeln. So in a Mendeln build, your minions do tiny damage and are just lucky hit bots for proccing the ring. 110% of a tiny number is still a tiny number.
