Necromancer should be primarily a summoner. Zero of the skills on the skill tree are about summoning. Necromancy is to raise the dead, not cast poison bolts or bone spears etc.
Necromancers are raisers of the dead.
I don’t understand the thought process on the necromancer design. I don’t want a wizard, I want a summoner. There should be main skills on every node that are related to summoning.
It’s fine that there are options to be a caster necromancer, but it’s not fine that there are no options to be a summoner.
The first Beta-weekend surprised me and I was excited to see more. But I think Blizzard knew what they did when they only made the fun classes playable…
You do realize that you’re literally arguing against the people that create that lore that you are arguing about right? Like whatever they say goes and that’s what Necromancers are lol.
Do necros at least get golems or the ability to rez fallen enemies like they did in D2? Haven’t even been able to check the skills because I keep crashing and having to sit in que.
How does having a summoning option impact you at all, you can still pick your non summon talent nodes. All I’m saying is there should also be summoning options on the talent tree. It’s lame that there are not.
I know exactly what I’m talking about. it doesn’t matter that they automatically give you mages, skeletons, golem. There is nothing on the talent tree related to summoning, that’s a problem. Without being able to empower the summons, they will be worthless at endgame.
Necros always had Blood/Curse/Bone/Summon… why change that? I would love to be able to send them to a specific enemy like “command” in D3. Even if I did not like the “summon automatically w/o corpses” mechanic.
Skeletons hit decently hard and since you can heal them with corpses and create corpses with skills, I am curious how the necro will turn out with a few proper legendaries under the belt that beef up his skellies.
I like the visuals of the blood skills as far as I saw them too. Maybe I will go off my usual track and respec to have those, just to see what happens. But either I am blind or the command skill does not exist which makes me sad.
U do know at 15 u get mages and 24 golem and each 3 have different settings to use. On thebskill tree few has dam inc for skellies. And few skills ubuse for summons get bonuses.
