Is anyone else having an issue with the golem and what enemies it targets? I use the active ability, it’ll atack the thing I ping it to once, and then start beating up low health goons instead of the thing I’m attacking. I cannot seem to get it to attack what I am attacking, nor stick to what I use it’s active ability on.
This is all of the golem types. Is this a bug? Intended? If this is intended, I’m just going to stop using it until it’s changed I guess. I really dislike getting steam rolled by something with a golem that’s supposed to be protecting me just messing around with fodder enemies.

A couple days ago I called the golem the most lobotomized AI I’ve ever played in a minion/pet class in any game ever and I stand by that many hours of gameplay later.
I still love my big dumb guy but he’s an idiot to be sure. The AI pathfinding and targeting need a lot of work and some ounce of control by the player to highlight what the golem should prioritize.
Often he runs off screen to attack completely irrelevant mobs I had no intention of attacking if he’s not just standing around in the middle of combat doing absolutely nothing at all and it makes the golem a bit more than half-useless half the time. He’s still a good boy but damn is he an empty head.
Blizz plz.

My iron golem smash became 100 times more accurate after I switched back to KBM.
It works fine on PC. It goes to where you click on the ground.
If you are on console, that’s your problem.
I an quite literally on PC. It doesn’t work. Nice try though and thanks for the useless feedback lmfao. If it isn’t working in console though, that IS an issue still.
Same here. Really annoying when I decide to play with a controller. The golems pathfinding seems to be off especially on immovable mobs, he just keeps running around the mob several times until any skill is used. This definitely needs a fix.
