two different classes though, and there are some other builds that can potentially perform even better anyway.

no rest is untertuned. this is only the 2nd difficulty. we shouldnt be fight bosses for 2+ minutes.

i dont feel like sharing my sorc build, its pretty broken and i dont want blizz to find out too early and nerf. Lets just say my butcher kills are around 10 secs, elites die instantly. Yes, even on 4 player party health increases. Yes, at lvl 25 with full leggy aspects.

Honestly, these videos are pointless, you’re literally level 25 and twinked to high hell in full legendary gear. This is not a very accurate depiction of what is going to happen on release when people come across this enemy before end game. He is sorrily balanced in a way that expects the player to have given great attention to their gear. While he may be a fun scare and interesting experience, his overall implementation is going to lead to a lot of anger for those still in the leveling process and worse on the hardcore server

Interesting take, and I agree that the Butcher will slay most players especially during the leveling process. There are some strats to defeat him, but as you said Hardcore is just another thing.
Not really. His implementation is very similar to originally in D1.
Hardcore players will probably just run from him. Like they did various creatures in D2 dependent on which class they were.
As example my hardcore barb never fought anything with ironmaiden.

Word, my sorc kills the butcher so fast I had no idea who it was until it melted in seconds. lol
I killed Butcher in half that time with a fully decked necro and didnt rely on a CE gimmic. Barrier bone spear build is vastly superior.

Ive got a max “Pet” build with thorns and all I done was kite him for a full 30 seconds and he died. Didn’t even have to use Blood Mist or Corpse explosion.
These “OP Necro” tutorials are pointless as any casual with half a brain can work out how to get an OP build very easily in the beta … almost as if any build in the beta works well for a Necro !!!

I also play the Bone Spear and killed him with it around 30-40s. Will have to check the recording but I really like the bone necro build as well.
