I am on ps 5 couch coop as a summoner build with 4 reapers and 3 mages. Often 1or 2 reapers or mages just disappear for no reason and I just cant re-summon them. (The minion number icon also shows turns grey which means they are not stuck somewhere. )
All I can do is tolerating this for a couple of minutes and they may magically reappear. It happens during battle, switching area or sometimes even simply walking around. Is anyone experiencing this?

I found a solution: open your book —- make some adjustments, (by doing this, you actually kill your current minions) —- then re select the skeletons you want. now you can re-summon them to the correct quantities, providing there are corpses nearby.
Rushing around with conduit shrine will also make you stuck with 0 minions. You can use the above method to reset and re-summon. So I never touch that shrine any more.
The same thing happens on Xbox Series X. It definitely happens for player 2, not sure about player 1. The problem also happens with legendaries that let you summon extra skeletons.
You can summon max skeletons again after taking the summon skeleton ability off your bar and putting it back on. Very inconvenient during timed events for summon-focused necromancers.
Same on PS5. Happens 100% of the time when using a conduit shrine. When you are in conduit mode the minions no longer follow you causing them to be left behind. The count shown is close minions and not total minion count, but the check to summon more is total minion count.
Simple fix would be of you attempt to summon and not all minions are close then move them close in addition to triggering the priest. This could work even if not targeting a corpse.
Alternate or additional option is long press of the summon button ports them close (I would love this feature)

This is also happening to me on PS5 couch coop. It happens for player 1 and player 2. I never have this issue when playing solo.
For example if I can summon 6 warriors, ui circle is gray and shows 4 are summoned, but using the skill only actives priest buff and doesn’t summon a new one. Visually on the screen there is only 4.
Current workaround I’m using is to use the traversing the terrain arrows, like going up ladders or across rope wires brings all your summons back. You magically have all your summons back and UI fixes itself.
Bug since launch. Still persists after 1.0.3 patch.

-First noticed around level 30+ and is still happening at level 70
Minions (Sometimes just warriors, just mages, golem has disappeared as well) , Will be unsummonable. The tooltip for number of minions will display correctly, including being grey instead of green, yet when using the summon ability, the priest heals/buffs rather than replenishing summons.
Any action that causes minions to despawn (Changing minion types, Removing ability from hotbar) , will temporarily fix. (Has happened multiple times in single dungeon or not at all in a 2 hour session)
Speculation:
Seems to happen when minions are moved by the game, whether it be by them getting stuck behind things or they really have to kill that one baby spider I left behind. Like someone mentioned previously, happens almost every time with conduit. I’m guessing because players tend to move far away from where the minions where ‘hidden’.
I know this effects a very small percentage of affected customers, but now that we are doing T4 Nightmare Dungeons, this is a killer.
Since the minion count is working properly, can a check be added there as a quick fix until the real issue is found?
I’m also experiencing this. Playing couch co-op (Xbox Series X), second player is Necro, happening exactly as described by other posters.
It happened multiple times during our most recent play session, and was quite annoying depending on when it happens.
I have this issue too, and it’s a real killer at higher tiers. At times I’ve ended up with nearly all skeletons gone and unsummonable, and had to teleport somewhere there’s a “duck” or “jump” option in order to make them come back.
If I’m moving slowly sometimes I see a couple of them run into each other and just stop completely and get left behind, which I assume is where some of this is coming from.
On the Xbox Series X, the same thing takes place. Player 2 will undoubtedly experience it, but Player 1 may not. The issue also arises when using legendaries that allow you to summon additional skeletons.
After removing and re-adding the summon skeleton ability to your bar, you can summon the maximum number of skeletons once more. Very annoying for summon-focused necromancers during timed events.
This bug still happens on PS5 local co-op. I have been encountering this since the beta on a daily basis. It’s really frustrating to go through this, especially in helltide when you lose several minions and can’t fight effectively without losing time to go back for minions or TP back to town.
Here is video I took today, patch 1.1.1. As you can see even though I have +2 warriors aspect, I cannot summon 6th skeleton. This skeleton is stuck for some reason way back, and only appears after I go back for him. Seconds before I took this video I was killing monsters and he didn’t come anyway, so it was effectively -1 minion for me.
Not bad considering I sometimes lose ALL minions, especially after conduit pylon, like here:
Can someone from Blizzard at least confirm that it’s on the radar to fix? It’s almost 3 months since I first encountered in the beta and I literally experience it on a daily basis, which is so much frustrating for a summoner build.

I am starting with full minions summoned, then I notice Legion event happening nearby in Helltide, and as I’m coming there, some of my minions get stuck along the way. So they aren’t at the event with me and they cannot be resummoned. This is really bad for summoner build, I have to choose between weaker damage because of lack of minions, or wasting time to TP back to town for minions reset.
But there’s more. Couple of minutes later, the same Helltide, this bug happens again…

I am amazed that I managed to hit 91 lvl with this bug on a daily basis. I enjoy the game, but I am getting frustrated more and more every day.
Same thing for me since the beta. This instantly nerfs my necro when I start to not be able to replenish my skeletons. Especially on nightmare dungeons that we only have a limited number of regens.

I’ve got rid of my minions now because of this issue and just kept the golem. Still happens with the golem though, and now in season 3 my companion is also disappearing, so it’s not just the minions/golem.
Hoping something can be done soon to fix this bug!

Same for me, I’m player 1 with a necromancer, and my skeletons disappear randomly.
Walking around with 1 mage when you’re supposed to have 4 defenders and 3 mages is a bit weak
