after unlocking golem in the book of the dead, and it appeared, I had to leave the game for awhile but after logging back in, there’s no golem, just my skeletons warriors and skeletal mages, even though it shows I have golems bone selected. logged out and back in and no change
It’s possible the Golem is getting de-summoned – If on PC, hit S to pop-up the skill window, drag Golem down to your skill bar, and try re-summoning it to see if it really is getting de-summoned and not updating the icons on what you have summoned.

I’m replying to this one instead of making a new topic tried to search for the most recent similar topic regarding Golem which cannot be summoned.
This has happened atleast twice now. My golem despawn or get locked out boss battles.
After it get despawned it cannot be resummoned during that entire dungeon.
Most recently this happened in a boss battle with the “pale man” I managed without the pet but as Necromancer is a pet based class with skeleton/golem and such a core element if that mess up what good is that?
I tried set the talent on bar again nothing I see my golem icon click it cooldown no Golem.
It finally appeared again after I finsihed the dungeon…but as said what good is a pet if it cannot be resummoned.
Necromancer is a pet based class with skeleton/golem
Necromancer is not specifically a pet based class, even though that is one way to play it. If you’re making your build a pet based build, then that is a different story.
if and when it gets de-summoned, check the icons to the right of your abilities – the area that show you how many skeletons/mages/golem you have summoned; if it actually shows the golem icon, but you see no golem, then something else is going on.

In my comment back in March, I mentioned dragging the icon to the bar again, but completely missed a step; I forgot to mention to remove the icon first. If you haven’t been doing that, then do that, then go to an area outside of a town add the ability back to the bar. Once done, attempt to resume whatever activity you’re doing.
