Currently minions are doing absolutely no damage in the end game compared to AotD, which is far to strong. This is not why we chose to play minion builds, we wanted our damage to come from our minions… not an ult that just randomly fires off bombs, which in effect is just a soulrift type AoE.
High pit bosses hp simply does not move from minion attacks, but as soon as AotD is used it chunks down hitting for billions and even trillions of damage. So our minions are absolutely sidelined by this Ultimate and are yet again just support like in season 0-4.
Minion players want minions doing the damage not ultimate’s, not rings, not our other spells… MINIONS!
As a diehard minion fan I just cannot bring myself to play season 7 if its anything like the PTR… I put up with this for a year, we were on track in season 4… season 6 felt good until we realized minion damage was poor without a mendeln carry, and now its just an AotD build.
Blizzard you need to put your awful philosophy aside about minions being “support” and realize you are wrong, players want minions. Give us a control button for them (not something I even want personally, but the community is crying out for) and make them do all our damage.
