Necro confirmed gigachad class with T100 clear

Guess how he got there? Yep, armor stacking and defensive stacking.

Don’t worry, it’s a fun skill and it helped a build clear NM100.
Of course it will be nerfed. Blizzard doesn’t want people clearing NM100 solo, and they certainly don’t want fun skills to remain fun. If they are fun, then you won’t be tempted to try out the lame skills that no one really likes.

Necromancers are not supposed to play anything other than a disposable pet build. Know your place, which is the back of the bus with the Sorcerer.

That’s good news and congratulations to him, because that’s an achievement indeed. However it means little without gameplay footage, because the issue isn’t clearing a T100, it’s the speed and, more importantly, the methods used.

It is possible for every class, especially on Necromancer by using Bone Prison to bug mobs and sniping them with a spear from offscreen. You can simply pick a map with slow melee and few ranged mobs with easy objectives like Serpent’s Lair and cheese your T100 to completion. At that point, whether your class is S or F tier means little as long as you can oneshot or twoshots the elites from offscreen, which you absolutely can do on a Bone Spear build. If you fail, simply run all the way back and go up a staircase if the mobs haven’t reset.

Still, big grats to that guy.

(Btw, not sure why anyone is acting surprised at armor and defensive stacking. That’s literally the name of the game for higher NMs)

He couldn’t post the full video of the dungeon run length as it was well over the 256 gig size limit.

If he posted footage of the clear, every single button he pressed would get nerfed Kap

Necro is actually a pretty strong class if you build it properly

Bold of you to assume Blizzard doesn’t know of 100% uptime on Blood Mist.

Bold of you to assume Blizzard knows anything they don’t see in a YT video. The builds that got massively nerfed post release, were the same builds Maxroll had on their site at least a month prior to the release, because they theorycrafted them based on datamining. Did someone bother testing any one of them internally? I believe we have the answer, given their surprise these builds do big damage  . They clearly learned that from Twitch and YT during the HC race, when people crushed the game with them publicly. What nerfs did we see so far? Wudi’s build, Ben’s build, Nugi’s build and most recently they “bugfixed” poison wolf, immediatelly following the video of poison wolf oneshotting uber Lilith. Blizzard only knows what you show them

Druid/barb have done the same, with full video proof and quite fast and easy.

What’s funny is I had a similar idea about running a build just like this. Glad to see someone had a similar idea as well and is making it work. Great job man!

I’ve seen the druid video, I would not say it was fast and easy  . But yeah, storm wolf proven to be really good, for sure. The guy seemed to be sweating through his tshirt though, during the run

Wait, wait, guys. The issue with Necros and Sorcs isn’t any of this early game stuff like simply clearing a T100 NM dungeon. It’s the endgame. They suck at the endgame.

This suggests that his clear time was bad, and the video was too long.

Omg, thank you so much for posting this!

After seeing all the bugs regarding Blight CE with shadow damage, I wasn’t happy about it but after seeing your videos, I feel excited to play my shadow Necro again!

I play this build and yea the clear time was probably abysmal. The reason for it is if you don’t get cooldown resets for bonestorm. In order to survive a pack pull in a NM 100 you’re absolutely going to need Bonestorm up every single pull. There would be no way to survive the potential downtime you’d have when you pop out of blood mist. When you pop out of blood mist (depending on lucky hit) you will have a window of about 3-5 seconds before the CD resets.

Sometimes you get LUCKY and the blood mist cooldown is reset before blood mist is over. But most of the time this isn’t the case (I’m running about 53% chance to lucky hit with CE ticks).

So yea I bet the clear time was pretty horrid considering he was waiting for Bonestorm to be up most of the pulls…still extremely impressive feat regardless of clear time.

How long did it take the Druid to clear?

I am totally loving this build right now, thanks again OP!

I manage to beat Mahjoob with it! I was using sever shadow build previously.
