Agreed.
Far far too much “build defining” in this game already.
Enhance skills for effects - all good.
DPS should be coming from skills, Paragon and glyphs anyway.
But power creep is here to stay… just hope it gets reined in some.
Give an offensive or weapon temper to the mythic weapons, a defensive/utility one to the armor and a resource/utility one to the jewelry (no need for offensive here). Also increase the values of all affixes by 25%, have them drop at 2ga at a minimum and slash the drop rates of mythics by 66%. That way ANY mythic that drops would be BIS and the player would know that they are done with that slot. Also introduce many more mythics.
Does it really matter if it is pit 150 or pit 180? It gives a pleasant feeling of EARNING more power and gives back excitement to mythics as an ultimate class item. Currently they are too close in power with regular uniques or even regular ancestral leggies in cases where the aspects are good. It also scales the b and c class builds up to the points where they are able to do pit 100-115, which brings many more builds into the viable category.
It matters a lot. because 3 months later youll (or others)ask if it really matters if its pit 180, or pit 210, and so on.
People have been doing these omg change this and make it stronger so it feels good! suggestions for almost 2 years now. Hency why d4 is as zoomy as it is by now. Its about time that people who like to play for more than 5 days per season to vehemently go against this.
Its enough with the power creep and demand for “item reworkds and moar power” already. Can we stop wasting the devs time with pointless reworks so that eventually interesting content can get added?
We already have a diablo 3. No need for another one.
also not true at all. While not every mythic finds its use this season, they are by far stronger than any legendary.
“It matters a lot. because 3 months later youll (or others)ask if it really matters if its pit 180, or pit 210, and so on.” - Yes, and? The level of challenge would remain the same with only the numbers being bigger. Then they’ll do a stat squish again and the numbers will become smaller again. The actual relation of player dmg to monster health would have not changed at all. It is an illusion but its still fun, at least to me.
As for content vs “pointless reworks” , it is a false dichotomy. Content requires much more resources and time than changing a few numbers. That said, new mythics WOULD be new content.
As for the power level of mythics lets agree to disagree. I’ll tell you this much grandfather vs regular 2hander is not an easy swap neither is Doombringer. My druid still cant change out of his tempest roar even though he has perdition and shako.
But lets not crowd the thread further and agree to disagree.
The class that still uses a mythic so your point exactly is what? That I didn’t add forum vomit with an itemized mythic to class and spec comparison chart?
