Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander (Total Redesign) - Implicit - Casting a spell has a 20% chance of reducing your active cooldowns by 20%.
- 18% All Stats
- Your Core skills have a 45% chance to cast twice and refund 100% of the cost.
- Your Basic skills have a 60% chance to cast twice and Critical Strikes automatically Overpower.
- Lucky Hit: Up to 10% chance to gain Lycander’s Blessing for 8 seconds.
Unique - Your Basic skills have a 10% chance to release a Blast Wave.
Your Core skills have a 10% chance to release Holy arrows.
Your Defensive skill casts make you Unstoppable and take 30% less damage for 2 seconds.
Your Ultimate skill casts grant you Lycander’s Blessing for 8 seconds and reduce your active cooldowns by 20%.
- Lycander’s Blessing: - You deal 100%[x] increased damage, 35% Movement Speed, 50% Attack Speed, and +3 Ranks to all current skills.

this is why devs should never let players design items.
i would rather just let SORC use Grandfather mythic since they can now use swords anyways =P…

LOL, thats even stronger than High Heaven Archangel Imperius spear that fought Diablo. 
lol, this is why players shouldn’t be judging what’s OP without any idea, and Bliz is never going to copy and paste an item. But, what are online forums without debbie downers to troll and/or be negative.
Druids can get 130% - 150%[x] 2H aspect, plus just as much or more chance for double cast/double damage temper, large additive multipliers for Crit damage, tons of WP and Health. Sorcs don’t really even use 2h for that purpose, most of their builds are 1h.
The biggest issue would be CDR, but at this point, it’s really not that hard to get 75% CDR on gear and SB have a unique chest and Key Passive that both crackerjack CDR.

This item is way too good as designed here. I like the flavor of the original it just isnt good enuf.

All resists is terrible on this staff and needs changing.
Spear 2.0
Implicit: 160% Crit strike damage, vulnerable damage, and overpower damage.
% All stats
% Crit Power (Crit chance and crit damage in one affix)
% Shrine Effect and Duration
% Movement Speed
Gain a random shrine effect for 30s on killing an elite enemy. Can only occur once every 30s. Conduit changes you into a mythic purple lightning spear. Spawn a regular sorcerer lightning spear when you kill an enemy. As a mythic spear you pick up everything around you automatically. (You will now always have a shrine effect and it now has an awesome potential spear effect as it is a spear afterall!)
The Shrine Effect was never interesting or good.
Lucky Hit: Gain X% resource and gain X% damage per resource gained. If at full resource instead gain X% Critical Damage, Overpower Damage and Vulnerable Damage.
Something like this works better with the staff and benefits any build.
