I finally received a mythic prankster key and found the goblin in the dungeon but when i went to kill the goblin he was untouchable taking no damage at all, and after a few seconds he just disappeared. I’m out the mythic loot and this was my first key like this ever. I am a relatively new player and would like this key refunded if possible.
If you spook any goblin, it will run off. Once that starts, you have a limited amount of time to kill it. If too much time passes, they will stop and begin their escape portal sequence. During that sequence, they cannot be engaged or otherwise damaged. Even though they are still present for a few more seconds, it’s essentially too late.
It’s likely you spooked it without noticing, it ran off, it waited, and you finally found it after it started its escape sequence.
It’s happened to me a few times.
His range for being able to “see you” is also farther than any other goblin. Like, if you can see him on the edge of your minimap, he just about knows you’re there too.
