i gave glyphs as an example, the devs clearly control their drops to ensure players get what they need, sometimes even in multiples, to help with progression.
if it were left to pure RNG, some players might never get the glyphs they need even by the end of the season.
so i suggest applying a similar controlled approach to other RNG elements, to ensure a more progressive and rewarding journey for all players.
Interesting. I did one and got one Mythic and heard some rumors about a 50% chance on those tributes. I wonder what the real chance is. Will try my remaining 3 ones today.
I have played 170 hours already this season with countless boss runs in t2-t3 and have not had a single mythic drop yet. Still trying to get a unique with a GA that I am looking for. almost 70 runs in the last 2 days and just get trash. At level P200+ and still having issues in T4.
âcountlessâ is a rather undefined number and obviously chances in T2 and 3 will be much lower. If youâve done 100 runs on T2 doing low tier bosses like Varshan or Grigoire for example, chances are high that you wonât find a Mythic.
To find GA uniques your best chance is Uber Belial or gambling, I feel.
No, GAMES will never be fair, any GAME!!!
Remember old days of 8 bit games & arcades?
Were those games fair? Hell, no!!!
You could never reach the endgame of a lot of themâŚ
For instance:
Commando
Army Moves
Navy Moves
âŚ
So, by definition, a game can never be fairâŚ
Nooooo, does Diablo has RNG???
Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
For your records, mythics drops are directly conected to the paragon level youâre atâŚ
Low paragon, low dropsâŚ
Yes, definitely coz Diablo IV is not my main game! Remove runes for crafting mythic item and more chance to get mythic and you will lose ALL stuff when season ends. I was not able to craft mythic item since season 7 and now this season because of runes. I am so tired of when something goes wrong for the game.
I still remember the time when ARPG just drop whatever and we the player are suppose to be making the best use of it, either using another character or change our build till something better drop further along.
Now we are demanding drops that suite of play style, if not we march to the forum and whines.
No end game!!! Diablo 4 have x3 more end game activities than diablo 2 (which still got praised nowadays) more you still their nothing to do!!! Like theyâve add so much stuff to do since launch i donât understand⌠i guess you thought diablo was a mmorpg but it is not (lfmao i even see someone said they would like to see 10 player raid and things like that xD) the end game of diablo 2 was literally farming the same places (bosses run, chaos sanctuary) and it would take months to drop one good item , and here you are complaining that after 80 hours you didnât drop a mythics , but if in 80 hours of playtime you would have all the stuff you need , im 100% sure you would still complain about how the game is cleared quickly⌠in other words , people are never happy⌠and will never be
Ok so letâs put this so people like you can understand it. The game is set up for the uber bosses to be the endgame. It showers you with mats to run them. The way the drop rates are right now there is no reason to do so. You get nothing of value from repeated boss runs once you have the uniques needed for your build. They are supposed to drop (occasionally) mythics or runes thatâs the way this part of the endgame was designed. If you do hundreds of runs and get nothing of value they have effectively removed that part of the endgame from the cycle. Assuming youâve gone as far as you can in the pit etc. then whatâs left to do?
Either keep trying for Mythics or donât. But Mythics donât need to have their drop rate increased and they donât need to be handed out to every account every season.
Mythics should be rare, far more rare than they are now.
You can apply your logic to every single video game. âI beat the game. Now what am I supposed to do with the game?â Either start over or play something else.
But whatever you do - both in life and in games - stop asking for stuff to just be handed to you because youâve put in the time or have the desire.
Hey bud: Iâm 73 years old. Iâm a retired father of 3 grandfather of 7. You are not going to begin to tell me what to do/look for in life and as many people have stated in this thread: we play games to escape the realities of life. We donât need those in our games
Well im a 74 year old father of 4 grandfather of 8 and i want my games to reward me dynamically.
74 > 73
4 > 3
8 > 7
My opinion counts for more.
Oâdoul rules.
