Ya, I already said D4 is just a game. Life isn’t fair, but games are supposed to be fair.
And as for your point about reducing drop rate, ok, if that happened there would still be statistical outliers and bad luck protection would still be a good thing.
Power should increase over time (due to farming), while also increasing game speed.
And increasing game speed should result in more “Mythics per hour”.
So I agree, they should increase, but because it is the natural thing that should happen.
The game doesn’t need additional bonuses… it just needs to create a power fantasy.
Don’t like the power fantasy? Try playing without rings, or without weapons.
They should make achievements with cosmetic rewards that say: “Defeat X boss with 2 missing pieces of gear” to encourage self-imposed difficulty 4 fun.
I agree… we’re not pretending to be normal people, we’re pretending to be invincible demon slayers.
I could maybe get behind some sort of bad luck protection that auto drops on after like 150 bosses with out one dropping or something like that but the drop rate does not need to be increased their suppose to be rare
Never found a Mythic until season 4 lol, they where not required. The builds where more balanced then.Paragon, torment levels, timers all bad ideas. Worst one is locking glyph leveling to the pit,god aweful design and getting worse every season.
Reduce mythic droprates from the bosses. Increase it from all content. Somewhat.
No need to keep running the bosses then.
This too.
Also make sure that mythics are not more powerful than other items. Merely different, opening up new build options, rather than broadly boosting power.
The problem is itemization ,diversity and class balance. 90% of uniques are useless, only a handful of mythics are useful. They need better itemization and build diversity giving you a reason to farm something other then bosses.
Here’s what happen people cried saying theres to much loot, and they level up to fast because they have to keep going back to the city to empty there inventory to much. Bliz said say less fam then nerfed XP and loot.
Bad idea and easily abused, someone can just make a minion build, afk for 100 hours while they do something else, and now have giga buffed mythic droprate
I don’t have that many Mats, I’ll never have that many mats all at once.
It’s an Option for people who Want mythics who Don’t have mythics, to GET Mythics. They just have to put in more work for it, and with the mats they get along the way they can get mythics by farming the bosses.
It’s a win/Win. You make alts, you get the spark via the Reputation, you also get boss mats along the way. You can save them and put them on what ever character you want that needs a specific mythic even.
I’ SURE wish I had 99 of every Mat and alts to farm the mythics I Want. A person should be so lucky.
this ties back to the thread’s topic: a safety net should be considered to improve the chance of obtaining mythics, otherwise players fall into the harsh loop of pure RNG.
yup, quality of loot drop has to be progressive, example like into T4, 2GA should becoming common, with noticeable 3-4GA drop so that players could move forward according the season journey.
Thats a nice idea. When im not in front of my Pici/Xbox i wrap the mouse into fur so that my non-existent cat will play with it preventing disconnecs and provide my account with huge amounts of playtime. CLEVER
