Mystic Circle Potency

is there anyone in the world who can clearly define what mystic circle potency actually does, objectively? none of this “it increases mystic circle effects” stuff because that means nothing. WHAT effect? the circles themselves do NOTHING … UNLESS you have an aspect for it. so, my question is: the plains power aspect gives you 10x dmg per stack of ferocity (on ammy). so if I have 500% mystic circle potency, would that then make the aspect 50x dmg per stack? because if that’s not how it works, then wtf is the point of the potency? I don’t need a larger circle because i’m already standing in the middle of the damn circle and i don’t need it to have a bigger LH chance. somebody in existence has to have an answer somewhere. logically, from a common sense point of view, that IS how it should work. but if it doesn’t, then wtf, why ever use that affix? someone please get a developer to give a straight answer to this. i’m losing my mind figuring it out.

To be fair, potency seems like it will at least affect Soil and Sky in a pretty straightforward fashion. It’s Forest and Plains that are questionable for sure.

I conservatively just treat the potency plains for 500% as 5% more or a total of 15% per stack. As that much of an increase for an aspect is already alot. Granted this is my assumption as the affix working any other way for Jaguar would be absurdly broken.

Lets say you have Aspect of Plains of Power on your weapon, that will give you 13% damage multiplier per ferocity you have. You put a level 100 Spirit Glyph in a Bitter Medicine paragon board taking all intelligence nodes in range, will give you 486% mystic circle potency. You temper your weapon with +Mystic Circle Potency, master working it and getting 3/3 crit, will give you another +176% to mystic circle potency. If you have max 10 ferocity then you will have:

13 * (1+4.86+1.76) * 10 = 990.6

increased(x) damage while inside a mystic circle.
