My Whole Day Wasted

I have been trying to log in since 11:30am on the 18th and it is now 01:24 on the 19th in my time zone (CET). I consistantly get the error code 34203 and I try again. and again. and again. and again. x100
I have logged out of the Blizzard game launcher and back in several times.
I have run a Scan and Repair on the beta
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice.
I have shut down and rebooted my pc.

Still nothing but error code 34203.

My husband on the other hand has been happily playing all damn day long. Since he finally was logging out and heading to bed I went to log in my acct on his pc… error code 34203. So I asked him to try logging in on my pc… and he was in the game without a problem.

So this error code is on your end Blizzard. You have locked some cosmetic’s behind the player joining the beta weekend and getting a character to level 20 and then you block people with this error code from being able to even log in to do this.

If it were not for this cute, adorable wolf pup backpack cosmetic, I would not even have bothered with your beta and been happy to wait until the launch… but noooooo and then to sit here all day long trouble shooting this on my own with your lame responses to my ticket…

Get back to you if it persists??! Are you kidding me? It has persisted the entire day and I have contacted you again and again and nothing. This is basically a brush off and a… “Yeah, we know something is messed up but we aren’t going to do anything about actually fixing the issue”.

I have sat here watching so many people live streaming the game on Twitch… sat here while my husband has been enjoying the game… and trying to log in… over and over, and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

Thats why it’s important to refund. They don’t care anything about their customers or the game, they phone it in and count on misguided loyalty. Thankfully it’s an automated process.

Well, since its a game my husband I plan to play together… and since he could log in and had a very enjoyable day, I doubt I’ll be doing that. But I do understand anyone who does request a refund.
I will not recommend this game to anyone I know.

This sounds like some sort of problem with your account then, if no matter what PC you log in with you can’t yet someone else can log in on yours…

That flat out right there defines an issue with your account for some reason. Or at least that is what it seems, given the info you provided.

But here’s the rub. The error usually revolves around it being a networking issue between the client and server.

So, that means, is there a reason your account is affected that is outside their control? Or is it something on their end? This part I cannot know.

But it certainly is odd.

The other issue, will the problem go away next weekend during the full open beta? If so, then it may be tied to your prepurchase. That or if you had done your purchase only in the last couple days, it may have not fully activated, and that could be causing your problem.

But at least next weekend, whether you bought it or not, everyone should be able to play for a couple days if they want.

Good luck.

My husband and I prepurchased the game for each other for Valentines Day… nothing says love like decending into Hell and slaying demons together.

As for issues with my internet connection, my husband and I run on the same connection and we have no issues there… he keeps us up to the best, fastest available always.

My PC is fairly new… got it for Christmas.

Well, it certainly seems odd.

As I said, not something I would expect. See what happens next weekend if I were you.

u can get around this problem by using a VPN when connecting to diablo 4. it’s a temporary fix until blizzard fixes it themselves

only issue i could see is your Game is not being Flagged as able to join this Beta wave.

did you prepurchase from a retailer or digital?

if from a retailer the code you were given to enter might not have worked?

I’m sure they have a magic wand and can just fix everything with the super secret magic words but are refusing to use them because they want people to refund their product.

beta pretty fun, hopefully you can experience it

Actually… they did after I brought my experience to this forum and out of the private ticket… I was able to log in, finally… and get my character to level 20… but it took me 15 hours of trying everything I could think of, which included opening a ticket to Blizzard, explaining my problem and to be frank… I got more helpful suggestions from the community in this post than I got from two Blizzard employees whose job it is to assist customers.

Also, I had been in the beta on Friday evening… I know I did not put that info in this post, but it was in the private ticket I opened, so the employee’s at Blizzard knew I had actually been in this beta and crashed and was unable to log in from that point forward. I went to bed and began on Saturday morning trying to log in and consistantly got the same error code.

For 15 hours I struggled to log in… I did everything I could think of on my end to fix the problem… and this included opening a ticket to Blizzard and explaining my problem. By the time I began this thread it had been 14 hours of nothing but this error code and zero help from Blizzard, so yes, it is fair to say that I was very irritated and frustrated.

No, I purchased it on the first day of sales from the official link on the launcher. I am a fan of the Diablo series and have played all the Diablo games. I play many video games… I attend GamesCom in Köln, Germany pretty much every year… I was part of the closed beta testing for Diablo IV. I was in this very beta as soon as it launched in my area (Germany) and had been playing and having a great time.

My dog woke me around 5am on Saturday morning and after I took her for her walk, I logged in was playing just fine. Then I crashed… and the nightmare began.
