I thought some mythics were class-specific. The Shroud of False Death has to do with Stealth. My sorcerer isn’t stealthing anytime soon. I got one from a torment boss and I can equip it. I can still benefits from its other affixes though like the +240 stats.
It’s cross-class by design - notice the all stats affix - and it causes stealth; you don’t need to be able to stealth to use it.

If you haven’t attacked in the last 2 seconds, gain Stealth and 40%[+] Movement Speed.
Seems like your sorc is in fact stealthing. /shrug

I use shroud on my LS sorc that does pit 90.
Should note that my shroud got it’s GA in all stats and with me hitting triple crit it gives +432 to all stats. Along with 16.1% resource gen and +1 to all passives.

i use one on my LS sorc, works great.
I use it on my chain lightning sorc. It gives nice dps!
Technically you can use runewords to constantly utilize stealth.
Huh, you’re right. I read somewhere that rune words with skills other than your own class would not work. I thought the same would apply here. Amazing what a little experimentation can do.
A side note though – your mercenary will screw up your stealth because it loves to attack unprovoked.

and no, its not class specific, its an armor, which every class can wear obviously.
It would be great for Druid werewolf stealth build…but unfortunately occupies the same slot as the Mad Wolf Glee.
Read the whole thing. The shroud will put you in stealth when you have not damaged for 2 seconds. Doesnt matter which class you are.

If you read it it makes you go stealth so ANY class can be invis!
Just to note: they do work. I use Que - Druid’s Earthen Bulwark on my Rogue. Set it with Bac as the generator with a high enough move-speed and its basically permanent.
best item in the game - all those juicy passives = massive damage boost!

Shroud of False Death is not class specific. I have it on my Barb.
That mythic is most for the movement speed, There are times in the pit where there are no enemies.
