My Pros and Cons of D4 at Paragon 300

I spent 305 hours playing season seven. 40 days at 7.6 hours average daily. I have obtained Paragon 300 and got all of the Xbox achievements.

I want to share feedback without writing a novel. So, here are my Pros and Cons.

Pro,

  1. Social Group Finder
  2. Combat Gameplay
  3. The Diablo magic coding (Portals holding your spot in a dungeon is so cool).

Con,

  1. You can do 90% of the season journey with your own made up build and then you are forced to follow a guide to finish the last stage of the journey.
  2. Bots and Leeches.
  3. The toxic discourse by the vocal minority

Since I now have the 100% achievements on Xbox For Vessel of Hatred, I will go touch some grass now.

Well put, it is sad that you have to follow a guide that has found basically an exploit to boost one build per class or just one class for the season. Enjoy getting your life back and fell of the grass.

It doesn’t take a guide. We finished the season journey with a stormhorn sorc and crushing hand spiritborn… both homebrew and neither was OP. We topped out at 70 or 75 in the pit. Then we saw someone’s sorc raining meteorites in T4 and she wanted that, so i made up a build for her and it’s a little bit stronger.

You made it to paragon 300 and still needed a guide to do the journey? You spent 200+ hours playing but not learning enough about the systems to make a decent build?

Gr8 b8, m8. I’ll bite.

No, Maxroll etc basically have a everything figured out. If it’s a skill then there is an already made Maxroll guide.

Basically I followed a guide and memorized it then started only picking up Greater Affix, and only kept 2GA or higher. I did not keep anything that wasn’t for the build.

I also made my own version of a Barbarian build that cleared a 110 for fun. And, like I said there’s a build guide for everything. If there’s a skill there’s a guide for it. So, no I just keep the same armor for 100 Paragon levels. Sometimes getting upgrades.

I have a 2:1 Paragon to forum post ratio. 150 posts with 300 Paragon. You have 1,000 posts and what’s your Paragon again? Players gonna play and haters gonna hate.

You were the one complaining that you couldnt complete the season journey without someone holding your hand and show you how.

I did it without a guide a 100 paragon levels before you and … youre trying to brag? You gotta see it, man.
