Can dig in discord chats from few weeks ago, 17 mythic drop from 1 guy in 1 day including a couple from Infernal Hordes. Just RNG

Its a very lucky day, between farming many chars for sparks i thought “just do IH7” with the lighning sorc. I got a great amount of stygian stones from the material chest: 0 stones, Zero 
I now fetched my abaccus do to the math of how many tormented boss runs i can do with ZERO stygian stones. Gimme an hour. I should figure out quickly.

Yes!!! Success!!! I exchanged 600 orbs and finally got 1 stygian stone from the material chest!!! Im on fire!!! Luck is on my side!!! ROOOOAAAARRRRRRRR!!! niahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Did 40 Pit 91 runs yesterday, 4h hours non-stop, ended up 2 Stones. Depressing!

Plenty of groups recruiting over on that discord, It does not really matter what your gear is, since the leader or member in a Infernal horde stg 7 is often a rogue or sorc and they do all the dmg.
Just try to apply to them.

Had bad luck with my last IH7 (always solo) run and only got 400 orbs but 4 stygian stones. Im getting happier.
Now im addicted to IH7 
Did 4 x IH7 after that, not a single stone. RNGsus come home, i need to talk to you and my big sock filled with small change too.
They nerfed the Stygian Stone drop rate in Infernal Hordes if statistics mean anything. Lucky to get two in even T8 now. I suppose this would be problem if it didn’t take hours to farm 15 Malignant Hearts or by having to sit on a Blood Maiden to the point of true boredom to get 27 (27? really, Blizzard?) Blood so I can run Tormented Zir to never get a Fractured Winter Glass. I suppose I could run NM Dungeons to get the Beast in Ice to never drop Fists of Fate. I guess for the majority those are the choices, time poorly spent for nothing ever but you four Mythics, cool.
Thanks for the tip. I am a solo player, randomly join a group during game activities when there is an opportunity but I am not really sure I am ready to go on Discord just to find players. I don’t even have an account.
I am seeing that it is getting harder for me to properly gear with each new season playing solo. I might have to follow your advice or try to join a clan if I want to keep on playing.

I usually get at least 1 stone from a t7 horde and those dont take very long to do
its not a lie, i can show you my inventory. If you look at my history of posts, most are complaining. I’m a grumpy old man and I am just shocked I actually got that many drops in 1 day. I was working on another alt for another spark since I had to craft the only mythic i thought i was going to get (Tyraels).

someone in my group got a tyraels from the lighting tormented boss during our runs (which was roughly 8 at each boss)
If you do Tormented Bosses, you can probably get 4 or even more in one day. You can also get none. How many runs for the 4 Mythics?

Having opposite luck. Solo farming Varshan blowing through all my malignant hearts and could t even get a Tal Rasha, but did get one farming the blood maiden at level 94 while farming the blood maiden for those 5 whispers to hand in a cache
