Started D4 with 10 people, now none of them are logging on. The most common complaints are;
World feels dead, its basically an online only co-op game. No global chat or any way to reliably get groups going. People arent responding to anything because chat isnt global.
Endgame is meh (progression wise for me).
Noone likes the playstyle of their character and always being resource drained.
Loot feels weird after a while, upgrades vs. progression pushing doesnt feel like they are going at the same pace.
getting stunlocked sucks, wouldnt be so bad if you didnt have to perform actions to gain fortify / shield / ect.
three of them doesnt want to have to redo side quests / dungeons for season 1. (I kind of agree, finish it once and be done with it) Whats the point of making everyone do it again? Finish it and everyone is on an equal playing field, which is the most important aspect of seasons.
I dunno, at this point im just waiting for PoE 2 now. Really hope D4 can pull off a win, I was kind of amazed they took the best things from D3 and kinda made the same mistakes as D3 launch.
The game desperately needs a group finding/making mechanic for each dungeon and/or activity. As many things as the game currently needs, I think this is top of the list.
My friends and I wanted to explore the pvp aspect, but since there wasn’t a bracketing system implemented, you’d have to grind to 100 to do so. Sadly that just not something we’re willing to do as it’s repetitive and much too long a grind. Getting curb stomped by a no lifer 100 in WT2 isn’t exactly what we were looking forward to. I agree we will likely gravitate to POE2
Yeah games pretty bad atm. I have no doubt they will eventually fix it, but why do we have to wait a couple years from launch for every Diablo game to finally be good???
So people don’t want to have to redo ANY content. They don’t want to re-level.
Wtf is the point of seasons then?
Essentially we already have cry babies that got Lilith Statues removed so they aren’t even part of the game anymore considering day 2 I had all of them and the game is likely going to go on for another 10 years. So that’s not a feature anymore.
People are complaining about the renown system.
So lets say you start at level 100 and all content is completed as soon as you log in at the start of a season.
Now what?
Diablo 4 pulled so many first time ARPG players in that they cannot fathom how an ARPG works and are shocked that the game “Resets” when seasons drop.

The removal of seasonal chores isn’t a bad thing. They originally decided to have you run around collecting statues was a good idea but didn’t think that only being able to do strongholds once was a good thing?
