I just wanted to say hi to everyone and to the makers of this great game!
This is my first post ever. Also, D4 is my first Diablo game.
I love it. It’s a wonderful game and it will get even better. Can’t wait for the expansion. I just wish it would come sooner. I’m looking forward to the next 15 years of content. I’m dreaming of all the new zones and classes and the continuation of the lore. All the other arpg games don’t come even close to D4.
Rod is that you? If not others will be all over you for saying something positive, wait for it.

It really isn’t a troll post. I like the game very much. And I’m stunned seeing all the negativity here. How do people don’t see all the good stuff in this game is beyond me.
If you just defeated your first 3 wolves then i can understand. But if you played every season and did lvl 300 the last two seasons you might no even be here in the forum anymore trembling madly in a sanatorium cell located in a dark corner of the earth. 
I haven’t just defeated my first 3 wolves but also I didn’t reach paragon level 300 yet. There is no hurry. I intend to do it the season 8. There are many ways to enjoy the game.
It’s a very different perspective if you’ve played for hundreds, if not thousands, of hours like most people here have. That’s where the complaints come in. Despite the complaints, most of those same people are really deep down just expressing frustration because they do recognize the game does a lot well.
As to those that revel in drama, just ignore them. The place is actually quite peaceful for a gaming forum.
Dont worry about it. This place is just filled with a bunch of whiny teenagers that dont know how to behave. Its really kind of odd. If we had more mature, rational folks this place would be much more pleasant.
Welcome to the game. Enjoy your time, ignore the neck-beards on the forum.

I’m not ecstatic, merely cautiously optimistic. The game does have it’s problems, no doubt about that. But for now, as a new player, just enjoy the game and don’t worry too much about those. Despite it’s shortcomings, there are many parts that are quite enjoyable.
Whatever you do, don’t prepay… 
It’s fine to like the game, that is your opinion.
Opinions can change with time though. Ignore the stuff that doesn’t make sense and enjoy what you can while you do.
For many that will be a dream reach as Blizzard intends. Level 299-300 paragon only takes 1billion experience…
Remember, the base game is pretty good.
The disappointments come at the end.

Ok ok… look. 
I was ready to buy it - I had a gentle jab ready (the title reminded me of “Baby’s First” brand). Pat on the back & “GLHF” camaraderie.
But toward the end of your topic post, and throughout your subsequent replies, there’s a strong odor of trolling. 
Language sensitivity and all that - stiff, formulaic sentence construction… people’s writing is full of tells. Come on, bud, fess up - no one will hold it against you.
Edit: or - tell you what. That closing line begs for elaboration. There’s been, what… a dozen+ well-known ‘modern’ arpgs? What qualities of D4 stand out for you that propels it to the top rn?
The qualities that stand out for me are primarily the rpg qualities - the world feels and looks great, the lore is superb. Then there is the music, the sounds and the voices. The fantasy of the classes is also pretty good. The other well-known arpgs have none of those.
