No luck getting Mythics to drop but oddly enough I’ve been able to find decent runes. I was able to create a Shroud of False Death using runes and the two sparks from last season. I have the spark from this season and I will get one from salvaging a broken legacy Andariel’s Visage. I’ve been trying to find EOM runes for a Harlequin’s Crest (to replace the legacy one I am using as it can not be fully masterworked.) My problem is that I have only found four, however, I have found seven Lith runes. Should I give up on the Shako and build a Tyrael’s Might? I play a Sorceress and use fire, lightning, and cold so the passives from The Shroud of False Death come in handy (stealth not so much.) in addition, getting more sparks seem to be a problem as I have killed Lilith twice and no sparks have dropped. What does the group think?
Heir of perdition and shroud is what I heard meta was for Sorc this season but i didn’t play one.
The only solution to sparks is to farm ladder bosses until your hair falls out. If they don’t drop and it’s important, keep farming.
For runes, more ladder bosses. Also use all of your undercity tributes that give runes. Use the jeweler to upgrade all of your extra magic/rare/legendary runes that you aren’t going to use (I save at least 6 of each magic/rare to keep things simple). Cross your fingers that you end up with 6 of what you need.
I don’t think ladder bosses drop sparks this season at least they never have for me and I have killed hundreds.
if one drops an unneeded mythic you can salvage it for a spark.
They only ever drop 1 the first time you kill them when a new season starts. However it’s per account, so if you killed one on Eternal after the patch hit, you wouldn’t get it on Seasonal and vice versa.
Now it has been known to bug, same with getting one from Lilith. I still have yet to get my spark from Lilith this season but my wife did get one from her and we killed her together with the help of a friend that carried us.
Yep, farm bosses for runes. You will likely have a half dozen mythics before you get the runes.
I’ve been assiduously farming bosses but haven’t seen a mythic drop in three seasons.
They don’t drop sparks. They drop mythics. Mythics are the only source of sparks once you’ve gotten any spark rewards from whatever activity works.
From your post it looks like you are playing eternal. Not sure if the drop rates for mythics are different as I rarely play eternal.
This season (S6) I am swimming in mythics. I did about 30 Varshan and 30 Grigoire then subsequently 30 duriels in torment 4 and had 3 drop. Granted all 3 were useless to me other than the spark. All in about 45 minutes. Previous seasons I wasn’t do lucky.

I was playing seasonal up until season 6. When VoH came out I started seasonal but I realized if I ever wanted to use Mythics again I needed to use the ones I had already accumulated. So I went back to eternal where I had a legacy Shako I created from the sparks and two unneeded mythics I got in season 3. I was able to partially masterwork it to level 7 with a big increase in CDR. Yes I can not masterwork it higher and the armor was dropped to the level 50 equivalent but it is still pretty potent. I kept meaning to go back to the seasonal I keep hoping that just a few more Duriel/Andariel kills and I’ll get a mythic drop.
If have a couple of EOM runes on Eternal that I can give you if you are still interested.
I always found trading runes on the trade chat to be the quickest way of getting something specific. Somebody always needs something.

Honestly, I don’t really know how that works. I am connected to European servers but that should not be a problem. I might have to be in your friend list for you to be able to find you. Probably someone in the forum can help.
