My computer crashes

I work abroad and when i got home in december, i bought the expansion and installed it. Prior to that everytime i played Diablo 4 i never had issues or crashes, and now the first time of the day i turn on my pc and log in to Diablo 4, it freezes and i have to restart… After that while i am playing after a while it crashes giving memory some type of memory error… my pc is as follows:
i7 7700 4200hz
32gb of ddr 5 RAM
16 gb 3070 nvidia
2 x 1tb ssd, in one of them i have the game installed
1 x 250gb ssd
water cooling
and a 34 inch gaming screen
what can be the problem?

It’s been a an issue for many here. You can look through some of the other “crashing threads” for potential solutions.

But I would tell you to:
Turn RT off, Turn DLSS off unless you absolutely need it for playable FPS.
Turn some of the memory instensive settings down a notch or two. Like Shadows, particle effects.
Set a Pagefile, if you have not already.
Clear your shader cache in the nvidia control panel, just change the size and hit apply and then change it back, this should force it to refill.

There are other things I listed out that I did, but you may want to look in one of the other crash threads.
I am on the latest nVidia Drivers. Some claim there is a previous version of the nVidia Driver that is more stable for them. This could very well be the case for you also.
Overall you just want to lower the memory footprint of the game as much as you can wihtout making it unbearable.

I was stable until the 2nd or 3rd patch of the expansion. I have an Intel/Nvidia system just a bit newer. Manually set a page file (Virtual Memory) for much larger than you will ever need. I put 1 TB EACH (overkill) on 2 separate SSD that were separate from OS.

I also reverted to the Nvidia 561.09 driver. I did this at the same time as the page files. This made it stable for as long as I wanted to play. 10 hours no crash.

I recently took a chance and installed the latest gamer ready driver and so far no crashes. Makes me lean towards the VM page files being the fix. FYI windows has an absolutely horrible (I am being nice) memory manager, been this way since win95 and every version since. You would think they could have come up with something better by now.

found your issue fren. monitor is too small obviously

You don’t seem to have all that much GPU memory and the memory leak will crash you out eventually. Perhaps try lowering your texture quality and the game will take longer before it runs out and crashes.

Let’s hope Blizzie patches the stuff one day.
