You cannot purchase crafting material. There is one tier but three tracks.
Track 1 is stuff that allows crafting - you can only get it by spending favor gotten from transferring XP. The accelerated and regular BattlePass skip over these parts of the tier.
Track 2 regular BattlePass - you get cosmetics and other stuff that does not effect gameplay.
Track 3 - accelerated BattlePass - you get the first 20 levels (maybe 20 levels past where you are) without spending favor. The other 40 or so must be earned with favor.
you never played diablo immortal clearly

It was a testing ground for pay2win features they want to implement into the franchise and needed to know how people would respond.
They about 100m off it.

Basically they couldnt stop the item sellers so they decided to join em.
Played it, played it with another 9 characters. D4 is using a separate system. Blizzard has repeatedly stated that D4 is not play 2 win. Given, the single graphic that they use has confused many, many people.
we will have to wait and see, i played about 1000 hours fo diablo immortal, and was apart of an alliance of over 20 large clans, every clan on the top20 board actually.
If blizzard thinks its profitable, they will try to sell it.
The solution and only answer is for all of us to ignore the store entirely, or pay the price for paying the price.

Wait and see is the general consensus. As far the clans, they never quite worked for me. As far as time goes, I have close to 900 hours just on the weekends for about 9 months.
if you let fomo lead you then don’t play a game with constant stuff… also you are targeting the battle pass paid side, battle pass and seasons are free content
I seen they’re using it to unlock primal aspects so… not purely cosmetic. Sure hope they’re not locking primal aspects behind pay walls now.
Gross on the p2w shi. I’ll avoid every game released with it in. Sad that filthy casuals and wallet warriors are flooding Blizz content now.
Agreed, except if it werent presented by blizzard ingame through an eshop, there would be third party sites selling items, gold, and services…
I find it funny that alot of people who complain about pay2win or dlc at one point used sites with paid forum currencies, or straight up bought items from bot farm sites.
But when blizzard sets up an eshop or sells dlc its criminal.
Make no mistake I wish there was no eshops, paid dlcs, or 3p sites, but thats not the universe we live in.
