Here is my personal Isometric ARPG top 10. What are yours? Keep in mind this is of only ones I have played.

  1. Diablo 2 (Expansions Included)

  2. Grim Dawn(with expansions)

  3. Diablo

  4. Torchlight 2

  5. Titan Quest(with expansions)

  6. Diablo 4(yes I’m serious but it’s trending down fast)

  7. Path of Exile(Haven’t played in 5 years honestly. Might try again soon.)

  8. Diablo 3 (Expansions included)

  9. Torchlight

  10. Last Epoch

Should’ve done what others do and made this a YouTube video, spammed your channel in game chat and do a fake “giveaway” to increase your three channel views (one yourself, one you on a cellphone, and one random family member) to seven.

Aw man, no love for the Dungeon Siege series (1 and 2) op?

Anyway, my list is actually really damn close to yours. I just flip flop Diablo 1 and 2, then I flip Titan Quest and Grim Dawn. I Just much prefer the setting in Titan Quest. I also throw in Dungeon Siege 1 and 2.

Using the games on your list because I can’t remember all the ARPGs I’ve played

  1. Path of Exile (It’s the gold standard for ARPGs as far as I’m concerned)
  2. Diablo 3 (In its current state it is incredibly fast paced and fun. A true dopamine drip)
  3. Diablo 2: Resurrected (I probably have 10,000 hours into Diablo 2 but it has been surpassed by PoE in terms of content and design, and D3 in terms of overall fun)
  4. Diablo 4 (This is a distant fourth, FAR behind diablo 2, but ahead of the other games on the list)
  5. Grim Dawn (Honestly, this game isn’t very good but there’s not much else out there I’ve played)
  6. Titan Quest (I think the same developer who made this game also made grim dawn, a similar experience, but not a very good game. feels extremely dated)
  7. Torchlight 2 (a bad game but not as bad as
  8. Torchlight
    9-10 never played Diablo 1 or Last Epoch

You put an awful lot ahead of a game that has arguably the most expansive build customization of any ARPG created…PoE.
And you want your opinion to be taken seriously…?

The complexity is exactly why I personally got tired of it. Season after season stacking more and more random content.

Isn’t PoE2 coming out at some point this year? I never got much into the first one but I may check out the sequel.

I don’t understand the PoE love. The visuals are all muted in grey tones. Enemies are hard to see. You need some kind of mathematics degree to even begin understanding how to build a character. The UI is an eyesore, especially the potions.

I could keep going. I would rather just stop gaming if PoE was all I could play.
