I have seen a lot of other reviewers and players talking about how great and magical the music is this expansion. I have to agree. It’s great for about the first 15 minutes while you are exploring a new area for the first time or some epic action is happening. When you are tring to listen to dialogue or standing in town trying to make sense of weapon stats it starts to become a tad distracting. Gone are the days of a gentle folksy guitar tune in the background to break up the silence and give atmospheric ambiance to a small quaint town. Now the music is LOUD. And repetitive. And it never stops. Every person you stand next to in town has some idle animation or something to say. Out of town, checking your inventory is impossible with the endless horde of monsters crawling up from the ground like moles or some kind of burrowing insect. It’s like having to stop and play Whac-A-Mole every 5 seconds. Between the music, the distractions, and the demons, I can’t get 5 seconds of peace. At least you can turn off the music.

The grass is too green too.
It would be great for example if there was an option to not “Loop” the music over and over and over and over. Or if the music was a bit less loud and repetitive.
Theres a music volume slider independent of the other sounds. Me personally I like the music.
I like Christmas music. But when it plays over the supermarket speakers for 3 months straight when I go shopping, I start to get a little annoyed.
I love the music. It stands out and gets my blood pumping when it quickens in a boss encounter or an ambush. I admit though, i use the sound volume slider to set the music to how loud i like it… And for it not to loop and be specifically created for the game, the expansion would have to cost 400$ instead of 40$. Duh.

You can adjust the sound settings to your preference in game.
I don’t know what you mean but mother nature seriously needs to nerf that grass!
I figured that out all by myself and turned it off a long time ago.
I agree with you though. It’s think I have my sound effects at like 50 and music around 60-65. Seems to be the sweet spot for me .
