There should be much more classes in Diablo 4 than only the original 5 classes
- Barbarian
- Rogue
- Sorcerer
- Druid
- Necromancer
Be creative! There are so much more exciting classes that you can create for an actional role play game like Diablo 4.
My random spontaneous ideas:
- Paladin (clerical melee warrior, using a shield as protection/weapon as well as a 1H weapon, can also use 2H swords, healing skills, skills with divine help from above)
- Witch Doctor (hunts with a long range boomerang and blowgun, plus short range/melee range (throw) daggers, can cast poisonous acid/pestilence skills as well as summon creatures, e. g. frogs that explode and do acid damage)
What are your ideas for new classes?

You will always get new class in Expansion DLC. They don’t mind release 10 more classes if you buy 10 more DLC.
don´t worry you will get 1or 2 new just for 60 bucks in no time.

Bliz please offer us paladin and monk as soon as possible. I’m not so interested in new class soulborn.

I wouldn’t mind if they added the Blood Knight from Immortal and they said they could (but not that they would… or wouldn’t).
I’m surprised they didn’t launch with a Paladin seeing how it’s in almost all of their games and fits perfectly in the Diablo universe.
Please paladin/knight NOT bloodknight
To me the current classes could have specialization that changes or define more the gameplay, like PoE and Last Epoch.
You say much more, but you only list 2 classes. Then you say to be creative, but you list Paladin and Witch Doctor, which have been in the previous games.
This topic has been repeated since launch with Paladin being the #1 requested class. We’ll see what they come out with for the expansion and future expansions. Wouldn’t get your hopes up though. Stay skeptical my friends.

Why not both? Immortal has a Blood Knight and Crusader.
Are we asking for too much for a multi million dollar game. Makes you laugh we have a limited choice aye.
My wish list.
- Dark Knight
- Paladin
- Witch Doctor
- Monk
- Demon Hunter not rogue.
If I ever get to play a Thorns Crusader in D4, I will be very happy. Not really top tier (at least in D3) but I enjoyed the playstyle.
I feel there’s a heck of a lot riding on whether spiritborn works out well. If it doesn’t I’d expect many many more threads about paladin/crusader.

Be cool if the expansion had 2 new classes.
I can’t wait to see people playing the new class, when it happens, in game. Being new, you know it will be 95% of the population ingame. heh
Same feeling,
But im a witchdoctor fan. I love the spiritual leaders in the Hawezar questlines. The voodoo, creating things from rot, the spiritworld.
With a possible return to Kurast, it would make sense to introduce such a class now.
If they go for something like this, then I hope they don’t forget the frogs. Its iconic for the Witchdoctor from D3 and a very funny skill. Its not that I used it much, but I have always liked the randomness. It fitted the class very well.
If they go for a paladin, then I hope it will be angelic offspring. In a later stage they could introduce demonic offspring. Would make sense in this heaven and hell game.
One idea i got about a new class would be this,
Summoner (no Necro or Witch Doctor): class that can summon the monsters that are in the game excluding bosses
I want to see a Spellblade type class. A hybrid that utilizes a rapier in melee combat and enhances themselves through spell use. Obligatory fancy feather hat. If anyone knows what a Red Mage is… that. FFXI and FFXIV are some of my favorite games because of this class.

The only time they’ll add a new class is for a new expansion.
