This is a minor gripe, but I just wanted to say that you guys built probably the single most powerful and well written scene in the Diablo franchise’s history with the Ah Bulan cinematic after the fight. I really wish you guys had not had Ah Bulan drop loot.
It would’ve been SO much more impactful to just leave out the portal rather than suddenly hearing the loot drop sound and having to run around while Eru is mourning looting.
I get that this is a Diablo game and loot is important and that a lot of people don’t care about story… but have the turn-in to Maka outside give us a cache with the same loot rolls on it. This scene deserves better. You guys did a REALLY good job on this scene up until the end and then the sudden tone break from the loot dropping off Ah Bulan was just… unfortunate.
