According to Blizzard, " while Mother’s Blessing is active, whenever you return your Grim Favors, you’ll also receive an additional Gift of the Tree cache"
Well, I’ve done four of them and haven’t seen one additional cache. Three questions:
When you open the tree cache it will drop a chaotic cache along with items and mats.
I gotten a few but not every time. They are inside another cache labeled “tree something”. My question would be has anyone gotten anything worthwhile from them? Don’t think that I’ve gotten even a single GA Ancestral.
I’ve opened about 50 so far and all of them have the gift of tree in them. 100% so far. This was a good idea on Blizz part. BTW, it’s just a normal chaos cache you would get from the tree as always. Drops the same XP and all the normal loot.
Same here…always an additional cache.
Not sure why the could not just double the amount the original cache drops…seems much simpler.
because it would take too long to empty it’s contents and people would complain non-stop about that

Yes, I’ve received them. But no, they haven’t contained anything useful.
open your cash, pick up everything, check your inventory and voila, a new cache 
(was also confused at first but then just did one whisper and checked if it dropped from the cache itself. wich it did)
They contain the same stuff they always do. Why would you expect anything different?
Actually, they’ve been worse than usual packs. Usually there’s an Ancestral in there every so often. Zero from the tree packs so far.
I’m getting the same amount of ancestrals I always do. I have opened many packs
I don’t think I’ve gotten a single 2ga or 3ga item from whisper caches this season.
helltides or headhunts are better than whisper caches.

I now see what the problem was. I was saving the caches to build an alt and didn’t open any of them.
The Tree cache also gives full exp of a Chaos cache.
