I feel like the pacing to get back to Nightmare in terms of leveling speed is good, I am personally pretty happy with the amount of time to get back to the more interesting parts of the game when restarting.
Blood Harvest is fun, no weird conditions or pressure to meet a timer because your stuff does roll over, just a place to go drown in a torrent of monsters. Honestly not end game material, but just a nice solid addition to the action the game offers. Having something like this that is always available instead of waiting on Helltides would be a nice permanent addition to the game, just saying.
I feel like the game respects my time more in S2 than S1. That is an important improvement.
Neutral feedback: things like the vampiric powers that are mostly passive and don’t really interact very much with our class kits are kind of boring to me. It’s a back end power boost, which is fine but not overly exciting. Having more powers with active interactions would be a bit more interesting, more focus on things that interacts with your skills or changes gameplay instead of (more damage reduction, automatically casting damage, etc)
Negative point? It’s feeling a bit too easy now in a general sense.
This isn’t a hard genre, but I do feel like I’d like to have to do some dodging and counter play to monsters instead of face rolling them at the higher end of play.
I hope we are getting higher optional difficulty levels or something in S3 to fight back power creep for players who want to have a bit more challenging play. I think having more of an optional spread of difficulty to choose from would help so that both players who want easy fun power fantasy and those who like challenging play can get what they like.
We are not there yet, but this is a significant amount of improvement. Thank you for the patch.
