Most players are console players it seems

I think you put too much onto “console ui” and not just bad ui decisions lol.

The recent trend seems to be releasing games in a suboptimal state and then fixing them with successive patches over time. Not every release is like this but it’s been a recent trend on PC and console.

Maybe. I don’t know everything seems bigger than it needs to be. Menus are all made with scrolling in mind instead of just pointing and clicking. Ugh. Tedious.

Well, we’re all blind dontcha know?

Bad News for you, it’ll get worse

The Console base Ui are almost everywhere

The next step is the mobile Ui

Nah it’s obvious the D4 Ui is bad because of the console catering

  • 6 skills

  • skill search being tags rather than typed in words

  • menus within menus within menues

  • no map overlay because it requires an extra hotkey and use arrows to move

  • inventory items being 1 slots

  • etc

Yes, I can’t help but notice D4 would work as a phone game. Say it ain’t so.

But on the upside, the PC gaming world can go back to its hobbyist roots, and perhaps go through a new golden age.

It has its hiccups on console too, unless they patched it already.

But yes taking time to release a quality game has taken a backseat to Shareholders and ensuring year over year growth.

I think that’s mostly because the PC players have, you know, a pc. Much easier to browse forums and type messages on a PC rather than a console or phone.

This isn’t a console decision, it’s a design decision

What’s really weird about that one is EA OFFERED more time, EA!

What is this, bizarro world?

Unlikely. How many people don’t have access to the internet to browse but somehow only has a console that has access to the internet for games.

Lol you really believe them…

congratulations you guilible card just got renewed

Guess I am getting old. I watched gaming go from Kiddy Games to Power Gaming back to Kiddy Games. Maybe it is a sign of the times and the economy. People just can’t afford a top of the line gaming rig anymore and just opt for a sub par gaming experience because that is what they can afford. Suppose I should feel blessed.

D3 had 6 skills, it wasn’t designed with console in mind.

Other ARPGs limit skills without being on console.

And nothing about console would limit skill counts anyway.

Your tinfoil hat is showing.

I, for one, will be playing both. Couch co-op and crossplay between platforms is going to be a massive home run. My buddies can come over and we can play co-op on PS5 on the same screen, and when they aren’t around we can play individually on PC. Such a huge win.

Well I’m going to have to get good with controllers I want to keep up in PvP. Time to just submit to the console overlords.

Blizzard still hasn’t officially said no to WASD just that it won’t be in at launch for obvious reasons. For all we know WASD + mouse could be the next big thing.

Really hope they move forward with that. WASD is a must.
