Most played game on steam...how?

Topic. How is this possible with so many bad ratings/reviews? I quit shortly after hitting 60 but nothing VoH specific; I just didn’t want to deal with copious amounts of gear management again.

It’s not even in the top 30 on Steam and goes down fast every day. Had a 50% rating. Pretty bad expac.

Diablo 4 has always been the most popular game for the 1st month of season and then the most hated game for the rest of the season

Week 1 of an expansion and its on Rank 33 of current players

One of the biggest failures in Diablo history

Steam is, apparently, the only valuable metric for judging the success of a game. Good job … lol

Im enjoying it. Steam reviews and forums never represent the majority of players.

Gold spammers can buy it on Steam, spam for 1.75 hours and then refund it. Log onto another account and rinse repeat.

It’s one of the only ones that actually releases player metrics, ie why it’s used, do you know another one?

Who would you consider more objective? The official forums? Jfc…

Good enough sample size. VoH sucks.

The gear management isn’t what it used to be.

The foundation of the game is actually a lot better, it’s more just the game has no real soul or end game yet, but overall getting your seasonal build online and keeping a clean inventory is much easier.

Codex is improved, gear is “improved” etc

D4 still isn’t good, but it isn’t as bad.

Oh, that is so true.
Blizzards are putting lot of efforts and money in marketing, but product remains mediocre.
