Hey All:
Just rolled and leveled a necro to 60. I realize this is subjective but I’m looking for opinions on what is the most fun build to play. Not gonna go minions this time. TIA for any answers,
So no one has a build they are having fun with?
I consider non-minion builds as non-Necromancer builds.
So no suggestions from me for non-minion builds.
Everything about overpower is at least very strong.

Sever overpower build with Reaping Lotus aspect is pretty fun. Check on Macrobiobois YT for the build. Blood Surge and Blood Wave+Bone Spirit is also fun.

Ive been using sever, decrepify, corpse exp(no sewage), soul ult, tendril, reap with all the relevant glyphs. A pair of tomb boots. Always fun being a pure Reaper
Fun is somewhat subjective, but I found Spirt Wave (Blood Wave with Bone Spirit) to be fun.
Watching the waves push them back and the bone spirits seek them out is fun.
I did a blood surge build and is very strong.
Is fun in terms of AoE, since you use corpses to do aditional surges novas.
The build is very tank, but I consider my gear very poweful.
You can go up to 46k hp (buffed), alot of damage reduction, and can overpower crit over billion.
Now im back with my beloved minions

Just wanted to pop in again and say thx. Finally found the time to get my blood wave necro up and running. I just got her to T4 and what a fun build to play! It’s also been seen as very strong on the PTR so I’ll know what I’m doing in season 7
Blood surge is a fun build.
If you want to push pits then try bone spirit necro. They can clear pit 100.
I run a BSurge/Blight/BSpirit homebrew build with +100% BSpirit explosion size and BPrison 80% clap back for single target…overpower & crit for a hundred bil or more when my BSpirit 2x damage procs.
Its hella fun for me atleast.
Just cleared a pit 100 on my bone spirit necro. This is the second class/build after the SB that I was able to clear a pit 100 with.
That was actually my goal for season 6 , to be able to clear a pit 100 on another class beside the SB.
It’s not my favorite toon to play , that would be my Fire Ball sorcerer but the most I was able to clear on him was 95.
The DoK rogue only cleared a 90 , then I made a rapid fire build and cleared a 95 but I hate playing it. It’s super buggy.
My WW barb cleared a 90.
I think after the SB the necro was the second strongest class this season. I’m also 100% it can clear little higher then pit100.
I used the maxroll build with few variations.
Yeah thx for the info. I really just don’t like the playstyle of that build so…
