Only 3 World Bosses in Diablo IV, even after (almost) 1 year, is lame. Add new World Bosses, maybe new Locations for them (it would require a redesign at some Ares) and definitely more enticing Rewards!
With current World Boss difficulty level, it doesn’t matter if there are new bosses or not. If you blink your eyes at wrong time, somebody already killed it. Also rewards cannot be much better if this is not addressed.
I’d say we need WB more often, every 1 hour maybe. And more challenging. Maybe a dynicamically adjusted boss (and the rewards), based on how much dmg the present people did to last 10 bosses per second. Current level being the absolute minimum.
Make worldbosses with mechanics like Tormented Ice Of Beast*. Very good visibility and good to dodge if you know the pattern. And give them a great healthpool so 56 Billion damage and more barbs cant 1-shot it.

There is zero way to make scaling work when you have players across a wide spectrum in gearing, glyph levels, paragon points, temperings, and masterworking. The only way community activities like that work is if there is a set gearing path like Lost Ark that everyone is on and can be balanced in conjunction with the scaling.
Not that Blizzard will learn the lesson but maybe changing dev teams a handful of times might not lead to systems that work well together.
World bosses on WT4 die in a maximum of 2 seconds. Usually faster. No need to waste time designing a new one. All of them could be a simple big chest spawning every 3,5h tbh, wouldn’t make any difference.
At this point I’m thinking only a separate world tier for lvl100 would help.
Better to just make the current 3 better. That would be more of the “bliz way” of doing things.
There is zero reason to do them besides for some prisms. Loot is embarrasing. One single helltide champ would kill all 3 world bosses within 0,5 second. They need the blood maiden scaling tuned up x2 or 3. Since even her gets obliterated now when there are a couple optimized lvl 100 guys.
World bosses will never get better than first beta Ashava.
They had it right. I have no idea why they botched it up.
They don’t need more health. Blizzard just needs to stop pandering to barbs and necros who cry like 2 year olds having a tantrum when they have to hit things multiple times to kill them.
Necros don’t necessarily need to hit things. They only cry if they need to sleep multiple seconds waiting while minions do it automatically.

Couldn’t blizzard for starters make them more frequent? Like every 4-5h maybe?
ive suggested a few things for world bosses but it falls on deaf ears…
- as players grow in power weekly (welll actually this season hourly) the world bosses should also grow in power - week 1 - 100% normal, week 2 - 125% more health, week 3 - 150% more health and 10% more stats, week 3 - 200% more life, 50% more stats and spawns a butcher helper, week 4 - 250% more life, 100% more stats and spawns 4 butcher helpers
new areas… with space for new world bosses… hmmmm what comes to mind? hmmm.,. what could it be? mmmm… AH YES! the expansion coming in December 2024 should do the job
World bosses are a joke. Sit around waiting from them to appear just to one shot them.
Unacceptable. Diablo Immortal has several tough creative Bosses from Helliquary that require multiple players to be defeated, so Diablo IV can and must have more World Bosses. Do not be okay with just 3.

I’m not ok with this but I’m realistic instead of a dreamer. Immortal makes them waaaaaay more money with their garbage p2w systems. Ofc it gets far more support and more stuff.
Look at what they did from beta until now. They released barebones grindable bosses. 3 of them not even with original designs. We got loot rework that is more like loot 1.5 since they did nothing besides removing some bloat and added tempering. We still have mostly only stuff like " add dmg when this and that happens, heal for 0,5 percent when the 10 great moons align" instead of original, skill altering, fun powers.
And yeah thats it. 1 year full with absolutely nothing truely new except vashan and zir.
I dont play immortal but what I know is that they got ten times more than diablo 4 players. Because thats where the money flows. D4 mainly only exists because we wanted it. They would sell us aspects for 9,99 each if they could.
I also dont really care about world bosses as long as they only live for 2 seconds. Once they fix the fights… sure but as of it right now there might aswell be nothing.
Translated: I want more loot bags on a timer. More free.
I want more varierty and challenges from World Bosses!
More world bosses would be nice, but they need to scale them better at WT3 and WT4. And they need to filter players better. A level 70 and level 100 shouldn’t be in the same game instance unless they are on a team. And even then they should default to something appropriate for the level 100.
And there needs to be an option for level 100s with crazy builds to face a more powerful world boss versions. Maybe they could hit a special altar in the world boss area that sends them to a level 200 world boss with minions.
